With 6,783 attached and single-family homes, this sprawling community is chock-full of thoughtfully constructed homes, fun-filled activities, resort-like amenities, and impressively designed landscaping.

Nestled northeast of Sacramento in the idyllic suburban city of Lincoln, Sun City Lincoln Hills lures Boomers with amenities such as a 68,000-square-foot recreational center, an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, an indoor walking track, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 15,000 square-foot ballroom with a stage.

The community also offers a smaller lodge with an additional pool and fitness room, as well as a 36-hole golf course, a full-service spa, and 27 miles of walking and biking trails. There’s also an onsite restaurant and bar for residents and their guests to enjoy, and the community employs a full-time activities director to keep social calendars full of fun activities and active clubs.

With over 40 floor plans, Sun City Lincoln Hills homes range in size from 901 to 3,068 square feet. Homebuyers can choose resale attached or single-family homes that offer one to four bedrooms, one to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a one- to three-car garage.

Rossmoor — Walnut Creek, CA
