Sun City Lincoln Hills Overview

Sun City Lincoln Hills by Del Webb is a sprawling active adult community in California. This magnificent 6,783-home community is spread across 2,992 acres of beautifully landscaped terrain northeast of Sacramento. It includes two 18-hole golf courses, large amenity centers and an abundance of lifestyle activities.

Sun City Lincoln Hills was started in 1999 after the completion of the popular Sun City Roseville ten miles south. Many retirees are lured to this 55+ community by well-constructed homes that offer modern floor plans and upgraded finishes favored by today's active adults.

Sun City Lincoln Hills Amenities

The centerpiece of Sun City Lincoln Hills is an exquisite 68,000 square-foot recreational center called Orchard Creek Lodge. It boasts an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor walking track, numerous activity rooms, billiards and a 15,000 square foot ballroom with an entertainment stage.

The Kilaga Springs Lodge has 37,000 square feet of space and features a private patio, spa, indoor pool, aerobics room, and an additional fitness center. The facility also hosts The Spa at Kilaga Springs, offering residents massage therapy, nail care, and facial treatments. The two lodges combine for 105,000 square feet of indoor recreational space.

The 27 miles of fitness trails offer residents and their guests various levels of activity and scenery over acres of rolling hills, wetlands, creeks and open space. Eleven community parks provide the perfect setting for outdoor enthusiasts to get out and enjoy nature. Favorite activities of the residents include picnics at the pavilion, softball at the regulation-sized softball field, tennis or fishing in the community's lakes and creeks.

Golfers of all skill levels will relish the 36-holes of championship golf. The Orchard Course and Hills Course were designed by famed golf course architects Billy Casper and Greg Nash. The courses boast well-manicured fairways that are framed by daunting hazards and pockets of pine, oak and redwood trees. The golf courses' generous corridors and expansive fairways impart a feeling of openness as the layout unfolds over the rolling hills and natural wetlands.

The Meridians Restaurant and Bar is the perfect place to gather with friends after a round of golf or a cozy retreat for elegant dinners with your significant other. The restaurant is open seven days a week and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus as well as a full-service bar. In addition to Meridians, the Kilaga Springs Cafe is a great place to grab a quick bite eat or a cup of coffee.

Sun City Lincoln Hills Reviews (11)

Average Rating for this Community
Date (Recent first)
SHARON WORMAN was my realtor who gave me a tour of the community in May. And after meeting with her for the first time, I knew that she was the realtor who would help me someday find the right home at SCLH. She was VERY thorough and professional and helped me love SCLH even more. No need to look elsewhere now for any other community.
One of my favorite communities in all of California! Love visiting my friends who live here. Can't wait to move here in the future.
I moved here about 1-1/2 years ago. I just love it! There are so many activities to get involved in. It has an amazing feel to it, like your out in the country but with stores, etc very close. My parents lived here which is why I decided to come up here from the Bay Area. I wanted to be close to them while they aged. Now that they have passed, I decided I loved it so much that I wanted to stay. Everyone is very nice and it has a very safe feel. Anyone looking for a new home, I suggest Del Webb properties.
I am a baby boomer, single and knew no one (except my real estate agent) when I moved here. I was terrified.

Moving here quickly became one of the best decisions I have ever made.

My mailbox captain brought me a sack of information about services for the aging population. My neighbors welcomed me with open arms and introduced me to other singles. I took some classes, went on some day trips, joined a club and found myself with a new circle of kind, caring and REALLY FUN friends.

The grounds are stunningly beautiful, the staff caters to our needs, and the residents are incredibly nice and helpful. There is a "Neighbors in Need" program that links me up to handymen who can help with small fix-it items (oiling my noisy garage door, installing new filters in my ceiling, setting my irrigation system for this climate). We have transportation to the airport or medical appointments for a small fee.

My life is much richer and more fulfilling since I moved here. This is a wonderful place to live.
We are so glad we made the move to Sun City Lincoln Hills. Everything you could possibly want or need is here. A great active community with numerous amenities. We were fortunate to have such a patient, professional and knowledgeable agent (Paula Nelson) and would recommend Sun City to anyone contemplating a move.
I toured the community for the first time in May and LOVED it!! I hope to move there in the next two years. No need to look elsewhere. SCLH has everything I was looking for and more! It is like a city within a city.

Special thanks to Paul the Ambassador for the tour and also my realtor for her tour.
I have been here since 2003. Great!!! Softball, Golf, free Ancestry, Computer Club, Active Neighborhood Watch, Community Forum Lectures, Cosmology, low Dues, Monthly Magazine (Compass, activities) and much much more.
This place is fantastic! We moved in 4 years ago and haven't slowed down since. There are 80 sanctioned clubs. There is a summer concert series in the amphitheatre and always local and international trips organized. We are close to Tahoe, San Francisco, Napa, Yosemite, Monterrey, and Mendocino. There are classes and guest speakers almost weekly on a variety of topics. This is living the dream with reasonably good weather all year.
When I started my home search I was looking in San Jose and Palm Springs. A friend recommended I look in Sun City Lincoln & Roseville. As soon as I drove into the Lincoln area, I knew this was "the place". Unbelievable amenities, a rural feeling, yet so close to everything. After being here for only a couple of months, I have met so many wonderful people. I found my agent on the internet...and she found the perfect home for me. There's not enough room here to list all the great things about Sun City Lincoln and the surrounding area. Relocated from Washington State and it was the best thing I could have done!
My husband and I just love all the amenities here. He is on the golf course numerous times a week and we like to walk the trails either after dinner or very early in the morning. I found a fitness friend to meet up with a couple times a week at the fitness center and my husband enjoys playing cards. We've been to lots of fun events here and have met so many nice people. It's been a joy! I simply love it here and wish we could have made the move sooner.
great. no cars on the streets, quiet so far, a lot of folks have dogs but barking is rare, lot of amenities: running, golfing, swimming, tennis, etc. Iam an owner.
