Governors Club Overview

Governors Club is a gated active lifestyle community in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This master-planned development consists of ten neighborhoods and more than 1,200 homes. Outside, residents can enjoy an Olympic-sized pool with an expansive pool deck, grilling area, and a splash pad. The community also has eight lighted tennis courts and two pickleball courts, as well as an extensive system of walking and biking trails that meander along with scenic ponds and wooded areas. 

Governors Club is also home to a 27-hole championship golf course designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. The award-winning course features three distinct 9-hole courses called Lakes, Foothills, and Mountains. There is also a driving range, putting green, six practice courses, and pro shops for golf and tennis.
