Arts and crafts and card rooms will please the hobbyists, and a ballroom called "The Grand Hall" is host to social events. It is easy for residents to find a good book at the fully stocked library, relax over a game or two of billiards with some friends, and to stay connected utilizing the computers. Tennis facilities and pickleball courts round out the amenities of The Parke at Ocean Pines.
In addition, the community of Ocean Pines has amenities that residents of The Parke can enjoy. These include outdoor pools, a tennis complex, basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields, and the Ocean Pines Golf Club. The challenging 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. for golfers of all skill levels and is nestled among scenic woodlands and natural wetlands

Area
The Parke at Ocean Pines is six miles west of Ocean City and its famous Maryland Boardwalk, which offers plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Some other activity destinations in Ocean City are Ocean City Fishing Center, Holly Ridge Farm Equestrian Center, and Ocean City Sky Tours. When grandchildren come to visit, Frontier Town Western Theme Park and Jolly Roger Amusement Park make for some great ways to spend time with them. Driving west via Highway 50, Cambridge and Annapolis are two other cities easily accessible for Ocean Pines residents. All three cities also offer airports, which makes long-distance travel convenient.
