Boynton Beach real estate does not have to be expensive. The city’s Palm Beach County location and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean make it a desirable place to live and ideal for active adults looking for Florida retirement communities.

Some of the best lowest-priced 55+ communities in Boynton Beach are comfortable and well-located, and they don’t compromise on amenities. Buyers seeking affordable homes for sale in Boynton Beach have several interesting choices, including these five communities.

Aberdeen

Low $100s – High $100s

Villas and condos are affordably priced at Aberdeen, where 724 homes are divided into six neighborhoods. The attached villas have between one and three bedrooms and two or three bathrooms.

Condos are in two-story buildings, with eight units to a building. They also have between one and three bedrooms and there are two bathrooms. Patios and balconies are included in each home, as well as garden areas in the back of the villas.

Neighbors gather at the 10,000-square-foot clubhouse for social events and club meetings. There’s an exercise room where aerobics classes are held, a library for book club meetings, and an outdoor pool, spa, and patio. Two satellite pools are also available, and there’s tennis and bocce.

Residents can golf at the nearby Aberdeen Golf & Country Club and enjoy the scenic walking trails throughout the community.

Bent Tree Villas West

Below $100k – Mid $100s

Two-bedroom and two-bathroom attached villas can be found at Bent Tree Villas West, a 55+ community in Boynton Beach where residents enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle and a lot of fun with their neighbors.

The homeowners’ association (HOA) takes care of things like landscaping, exterior maintenance, and even cable and water bills. Villas are on one level and have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached one-car garage. They are 1,733 square feet and resale homes are currently available in the mid $100s.

Amenities include a clubhouse, a ballroom, and a stage for live performances and community meetings. There’s also a library, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool and patio.

This is a social community; residents get together for salsa night, movie night, bowling, and cards. It’s close to shopping and restaurants, and the best beaches and golf courses in Boynton Beach are a short drive.

Mirror Lakes

Low $100s – High $100s

Waterfront living doesn’t have to be expensive, as evidenced by the 55+ community at Mirror Lakes. There’s plenty of lakeside space for fishing and a dock.

The clubhouse faces the lake and provides amenities such as a fitness center, a game room, and a studio for arts and crafts. Residents also enjoy an outdoor pool and patio as well as shuffleboard courts, tennis courts, and bocce ball courts.

Homes in Mirror Lakes are single-family and attached models with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They range in size from 1,200 to 1,868 square feet with open floor plans and attached one-car garages.

The community is close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. Residents don’t have to worry about spending time and money on maintenance, the HOA takes care of security and exterior maintenance as well as landscaping. Basic cable is also included in the annual HOA fee.

Village Royale on the Green

Low $100s – High $100s

Parks, a driving range, and two outdoor pools are just some of the amenities at Village Royale on the Green, a 55+ condo community that’s close to beaches, golf courses, and shopping.

Two clubhouses are on the property, providing an exercise room, entertainment center, a library, and a couple of multi-purpose rooms. Residents play shuffleboard and bocce and enjoy the walking trails and biking paths.

There are 248 condo units at Village Royale and they have one or two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and parking. Homes are between 758 and 952 square feet, and those for sale feature kitchen upgrades, patio space, and pretty views of trees, gardens, and greenery.
