About Aberdeen

Aberdeen in Boynton Beach, Florida is a low-maintenance community with scenic surroundings open to those 55 and better. Residents in the community enjoy numerous resort-style amenities and an active social calendar. Homebuyers can choose from attached villas and condominiums on a resale-only basis. This gated community provides a great low-maintenance lifestyle for the active adult homeowner.

Aberdeen Amenities

The 10,000 square-foot clubhouse is the center of all activity in Aberdeen. Here, residents enjoy each others' company playing bridge in the card room, joining one of the club events in the multi-purpose room, or watching a show in the performance theater. Those looking to stay in shape can use the exercise room equipped with weight machines and treadmills.

The amenities continue outdoors with a main outdoor pool and spa outside of the clubhouse as well as two satellite pools within the community. Residents are never too far away from a refreshing swim. Tennis players can find matches with neighbors at one of the four tennis courts. There is also a bocce ball court, picnic area and beautiful walking and biking trails. With so much to do at Aberdeen residents never have a dull day.

Aberdeen Homes & Real Estate

Aberdeen was built between 1983 and 1990 by UDC. The community consists of 724 attached villas and condominiums spread across six neighborhoods. Those neighborhoods include The Landings, Shores, Coves, Moorings, Isles, and Harbours.

The condo buildings are two stories with eight units in each building. Condo units range from one to three bedrooms, two bathrooms and parking available in designated lots. These units have master suites with private bathrooms and walk-in closets. Screened in porches provide great scenic views.

The attached villas range from one to three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and an attached one or two-car garage. Attached villas offer spacious floor plans, screened porches, large closets, eat-in kitchens, and formal dining rooms. Most homes have optional back porches with garden areas.

Aberdeen Lifestyle

Residents in Aberdeen enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle. Homeowners pay an annual homeowners' association fee which covers general maintenance of the clubhouse and community grounds as well as the exterior home and lawn care of all homes in the community. This allows residents plenty of time to enjoy everything Aberdeen has to offer.

There is a calendar full of clubs and activities at Aberdeen like book club, travel club, aerobics, bridge or the theatre group. Residents can also venture outside of the community to join the Aberdeen Golf Club for a fee for additional recreational activities, which is located across Jog Road.

Area

Located in Boynton Beach, Florida just off Jog Road, Aberdeen is situated in a beautiful scenic area. Active adults enjoy the great dining and entertainment options in the area. Day trips are often taken to one of the many coastal beaches located only a few miles away. There are numerous golf courses in the area offering play for all skill levels. This is a very “welcoming” community with lots of well-maintained green space. The units are well-designed with plenty of choices and prices.

I THINK IT IS A DISGRACE TO HAVE CLUB CLOSED SO LONG,PAYING FOR IT ALSO AND HAVE NOTHING FOR IT. TWO OTHER CLUBS CLOSED THE SAME TIME AND HAVE NOW REOPENED. THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS LUDICROUS.
