Lakeside Village was developed between 1985 and 1998. Upon completion, this active adult community contained 100 single-family homes, which are available as resales. These homes range in size from approximately 1,176 to 3,000 square feet with two or three bedrooms, one to three bathrooms, and some homes have attached one to two-car garages. Each home is unique but most have expansive outdoor patios, fireplaces, and lots up to an acre.

Homeowners will also enjoy more time to do as they please thanks to the homeowners' association (HOA). The HOA fee includes trash pickup, common area maintenance, as well as leaf and snow removal.
