Indianapolis is located in Central Indiana and is home to a humid continental climate. Residents can expect to experience four distinct seasons with hot, humid summers, as well as cold temperatures and moderate snowfall during the winter.

The city is within the Tipton Till Plain, which is a region characterized by flat, gently sloping terrain. There are also medium-sized hills and short ridges found in its outermost areas.

It is the 16th largest city in the U.S and it's also home to the Indiana State Capitol Building. Downtown, residents will find plenty of restaurants and large shopping centers. There is also the Monument Circle which is a large tourist attraction showcasing a collection of monuments and statues.

Aside from its historical appeal, Indianapolis residents can always expect to be near the excitement because of their large sports presence. It is home to the Colts football stadium, the Indy 500 race track, and Victory Field baseball stadium. Not to mention, residents still have an opportunity to enjoy the warm weather by visiting the Indianapolis Zoo or Garfield Park Conservatory.
