Minden Park and Gardner Park are also nearby. Golfers will enjoy the view and the greens at Carson Valley Golf Course. Genoa Lakes Golf Course and Lake Tahoe Golf Course are also less than half an hour from the community.

Residents who want to visit metropolitan areas are in luck. Winhaven is about an hour from Reno, and Sacramento, California is a two-hour drive away. For longer trips, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 50 minutes away from the community.
