In 2019, award-winning builder Del Webb announced eight new 55+ communities located in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, Texas, and Nevada. Here are the key features of Del Webb’s eight new communities.
In late 2019, Del Webb announced the creation of a new active adult community in the Haymarket, Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. They plan to start construction in 2020 on the 480-home community.
Prospective homebuyers can choose from custom-built attached villas and single-family home models starting in the low $400s. Carter’s Mill is planned around a clubhouse, which will include a fitness center, exercise studios, an indoor pool and spa, craft and game rooms, social spaces, and a cafe. Outside, residents can enjoy the temperate seasonal weather in the swimming pool, on the bocce ball and pickleball courts, or in the community garden.
Carter’s Mill is both close enough to Washington, D.C. for residents to enjoy all the city has to offer and far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Shenandoah Valley.
The first community Del Webb announced for Las Vegas in 2019 was Del Webb at Lake Las Vegas. Construction will begin in 2020 on the 55+ community, which is slated to have 461 homes when complete.
Prospective homebuyers will be able to choose from nine single-family models, which will offer two to three bedrooms and two to three bathrooms. Homeowners can also customize these new homes with a variety of features. Prices start in the low $300s.
As part of the Lake Las Vegas master-planned community, residents have access to many amenities, including water sports on the lake. The community will also have amenities just for residents, including a clubhouse with meeting rooms and a fitness center.
In North Las Vegas, Del Webb at North Ranch is a much-anticipated new community from Del Webb. Construction is set to start in 2020, although they haven’t released home price details yet.
Prospective homebuyers will be able to choose from nine models ranging from about 1,300 to 2,000 square feet and inspired by the desert landscape. The planned amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center, meeting rooms, an outdoor pool, and outdoor social and recreation spaces. North Ranch is also located near golf courses and shopping, while the Strip, the Arts District, and Downtown Las Vegas are just a short drive away.
Del Webb at Chauncy Lake is a new condominium community set outside Boston. When complete, the 55+ community will include 14 buildings with 700 condominium homes. The layouts are perfect for downsizing or a second home, ranging from just under 950 square feet to 1,500 square feet.
Prospective homebuyers will be able to customize the homes, which start in the low $300s. Next to the community, there are 400 acres of open space where residents can find walking and biking trails. Chauncy Lake will also feature a 14,000-square-foot clubhouse and central gathering space with meeting rooms, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and tennis courts. Residents are about 35 miles from Boston, but they’re close to golf clubs, shopping, and recreation in the Westborough area.
Del Webb at Trinity Falls offers a new 55+ community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Construction began on what will be the community of 537 single-family homes in 2018, and in the fall of 2019, prospective homebuyers toured six of the ten available models.
The home designs range from about 1,300 to 2,000 square feet with open floor plans designed specifically with active adult homebuyers in mind. Home prices start in the mid $200s, and homes can be customized through interior design choices.
Although it’s located within the Trinity Falls master-planned neighborhood, the Del Webb community will have its own amenities, including a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and a hot tub. Trinity Falls includes 20 miles of hiking trails, 450 acres of open spaces, a beach-entry swimming pool, and open-air pavilion with a fireplace.
In early 2019, Del Webb announced eTown, a new community in the Jacksonville area. They began on-site sales in the summer of 2019 and plan to construct 346 single-family homes on the 88-acre property.
Starting in the mid $200s, the 14 home models range from 1,300 to 3,300 square feet with two to four bedrooms. The open floor plans, outdoor spaces, and large windows make the homes perfect for entertaining and enjoying the warm Florida climate.
The age-restricted Del Webb community is part of the larger eTown planned community which focuses on technology, smart applications, smart living, and environmental stewardship. Residents can enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle with technology to make living inside a new home comfortable and simple. Residents will also have access to a clubhouse with space for classes and social gatherings as well as a pool, a fitness center, and outdoor amenities.
In July, Del Webb hosted a grand opening for one of their new Jacksonville communities, Nocatee in Ponte Vedra. They plan to build 845 single-family and attached homes in the age-restricted neighborhood, which is part of the Nocatee master-planned community.
Prospective homebuyers can easily find something to suits their needs, with home models that range from 1,500 square feet with two bedrooms to over 3,000 square feet with five bedrooms. New homes are now for sale, starting in the mid $200s.

Prospective homebuyers can find compact homes with just one bedroom in the ease of an elevator condo building, or they can find an attached home with up to four bedrooms and over 2,400 square feet of living space. Residents will have access to a 13,000-square-foot clubhouse, with a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and many spaces for gathering and learning.
Located in Morris County west of Neward, Florham Park provides easy access to major airports and East Coast thoroughfares, making travel simple. Residents can also take a 45-minute train ride to Manhattan or enjoy the scenic town of Florham Park.
