There are three outdoor pools, a spa, an exercise room with a sauna, and courts for tennis, bocce ball, handball, and shuffleboard. The community is close to beaches and golf courses like Delaire Country Club. Buyers who settle into the lifestyle at Las Verdes won’t have to worry about much; shops, restaurants, and health centers are within minutes of the community.
Low $100s - High $100s
An active homeowners’ association makes living at Aberdeen in Boynton Beach maintenance-free and fun. The low annual HOA fee covers all of the general maintenance and upkeep of the clubhouse and all the amenities.
Community grounds are also well-maintained and residents won’t have to worry about taking care of the exterior of their home or the landscaping. It frees up a lot of time for enjoying everything this 55+ community and the greater Boynton Beach area have to offer.
Condos and attached villas are available on a resale basis and have between one and three bedrooms and one and three bathrooms. The 10,000 square-foot clubhouse includes an exercise room, an aerobics studio, and a performance theater. There are pools, tennis courts, and plenty of scenic trails perfect for morning walks or invigorating runs. Residents enjoy living close to the beach as Gulfstream Park and Oceanfront Park Beach are easy to get to for swimming, sunbathing, boating, and fishing.
Mid $100s - High $300s
Boca Raton is rarely described as understated; it’s known for high-end shopping, five-star restaurants, and well-managed resorts. But, for active adults who want to downsize, suitable homes and energizing amenities can be found at Boca Lago, a 55+ community that offers condos, townhomes, and attached villas.
The 1,696 homes are divided into subdivisions, keeping neighborhoods orderly and well-managed. Two or three-bedroom homes are available in models ranging from 1,100 to 2,900 square feet. The homeowners’ association takes care of things like maintenance, guard gate security, and landscaping.
Buyers looking for golf course access will love the 27 holes of championship golf at Boca Lago. There’s also a practice facility and a pro shop. Tennis courts, pools, restaurants, and a tiki bar allow residents to keep their lives simple and centered on all the activities and parties that are often underway in the clubhouse. Boca Raton Regional Hospital is close and known for having a world-class cancer institute. When cooking no longer factors into your evening activities, go out. Local favorites include The Boca Beach House and Farmer’s Table.
Mid $200s - High $200s
Downsizing shouldn’t automatically mean condo living. If you want the privacy and the space that comes with a single-family home, but you don’t want to spend an entire day cleaning it or mowing the lawn, consider Summer Chase in Lake Worth.
The community is small and cozy, with only 221 properties making up the 55+ community. The homeowners’ association takes care of maintenance and landscaping and also pays for trash removal at each home. The lifestyle is social and the residents are engaged. There’s a theater club, cultural groups, and regular community events.
Most homes are under 2,000 square feet and come in two and three-bedroom models. They are single-level properties that embrace open floor plan concepts and two-car garages. Residents love the clubhouse with an exercise room and the outdoor pool and spa. Lake Worth is a pleasant place to live in. There’s a new fishing pier at the beach and a revitalized downtown area that’s quaint and full of cool coffee shops and ice cream parlors. Every year, the town hosts a street painting festival.
Mid $100s - Mid $300s
Set up housekeeping in a low-rise condo unit and enjoy your new life by the water when you move into Sugar Sands, a 55+ community in Riviera Beach. Residents are within walking distance to the Atlantic Ocean and local beaches, and the Intracoastal Waterway is in the backyard of this neighborhood. There are boat docks and walking trails covering 30 acres with gorgeous views.
These condos are comfortable, updated, and they won’t require lawn maintenance or gardening. They’re in two or three-story units on the end of Singer Island. Most units have hardwood or tile floors and many have views of the water. Homes have between one and three bedrooms and are easy to manage, ranging from 1,065 to 1,592 square feet.
Amenities include an exercise room, a pool, shuffleboard courts, and a clubhouse where social gatherings and club meetings are held. Art shows, book clubs, and game nights are frequently well-attended.
