The best part is that no one has to sacrifice an abundant, rewarding quality of life or the benefits of low-maintenance living in any of these affordable developments.
High $100s - Low $200s
The Village at Maidencreek is an attractive 55+ community of 110 attached homes is known for its peaceful atmosphere and modern comforts. There are five townhome models sized from 1,494 to 2,367 square feet with two or three bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half bathrooms, and attached one-car garages.
This community has a clubhouse that offers a fireplace, exercise rooms, a day spa, a screened-in porch, a gazebo, and a bar. Its Berks County location puts it near parks, historic sites like Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site, shopping, golf, and the Schuylkill River.
Mid $100s - High $200s
This well-established, diminutive community of 110 attached resale homes was built from 1998 to 2004 less than ten miles west of Harrisburg. Bent Creek Crossing has five single-level ranch models sized from 1,250 to 1,650 square feet with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and attached garages. There are also Cape Cod models, at 2,000 to 2,325 square feet. Single-family homes range from 1,763 to 2,378 square feet with two or three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Some homes include covered porches and walk-in closets.
Outside, there are two 18-hole golf courses, tennis, bocce, a pool, scenic lakes and ponds, and trails. A modern clubhouse is also available, with a restaurant, exercise room, and plenty of activity rooms. The number of social groups is well over thirty, making meeting new friends or discovering new hobbies. Penn National is close to all modern conveniences, the 1,125-acre Caledonia State Park, and the Maryland state border.

This neighborhood outside of Allentown has a small-town feel with 124 attached resale homes built from 2002 to 2009.
