Pioneer Ridge is an active adult community in North Ridgeville, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland. The community has single-family ranch style or attached homes. Construction for Pioneer Ridge began in 2005 by Del Webb, with plans calling for 599 homes upon completion. Prices in this gated community run from $200K to $500K.

Pioneer Ridge offers a wide variety of floor plans to prospective buyers. Homes range from 1,197 square feet to 2,536 square feet. Single family ranch homes offer one to three bedrooms as well as two- or three-car garages. These homes also feature one and a half to three and a half bathrooms. Pioneer Ridge also offers attached homes with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two-car garages. Homeowners can look forward to a spacious master bedroom and plenty of storage space. Large indoor and outdoor areas perfect for entertaining guests or relaxing are also included. There are various customization options available to buyers, including a second-story floor plan or basement can be added.

Pioneer Ridge residents can look forward to a variety of high-end amenities. Prairie Lodge is a 14,500 square-foot clubhouse available to residents. Prairie Lodge features a fitness center with exercise equipment and an indoor pool. The clubhouse also has a multi-purpose room, lounge, sunroom, and spa area. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy as well. Pioneer Ridge residents can take advantage of the pool and spa, two bocce ball courts, two tennis courts, a pickleball court, and a basketball court. Golfers can work on their short game at the putting green. Residents can also take advantage of the beautiful scenery with plenty of bike and walking trails.

Residents of Pioneer Ridge enjoy a full lifestyle and social calendar. A lifestyle director is tasked with organizing groups, clubs and activities. Clubs include a wine club, book club, and knitting club. Homeowners can have fun learning how to line dance or take part in informative classes on how to buy apps on their smartphones.

Residents often get together to play poker and bridge, celebrate holidays with picnics, or enjoy happy hour with neighbors. Pioneer Ridge homeowners also have the added benefit of a homeowners’ association (HOA) that takes care of home maintenance. The HOA fee covers lawn care, snow removal, and general maintenance.

Pioneer Ridge is ideally located just west of Cleveland and is only about a 25-minute drive away. The area features plenty to do with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just a few miles away. Residents will also enjoy shopping at the nearby Avon Commons Shopping Center.
