Whether you are looking for a world-class golf course community or a cozy ranch home in a relaxed setting, there is something for everyone at Heritage Eagle Bend in Aurora, CO.

Featuring views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Heritage at Eagle Bend is an active adult community with fabulous amenities including an 18-hole golf course, a spacious clubhouse, and many recreational and social opportunities. This age-restricted community encourages an active lifestyle for residents as young as 45 years old, while also offering homes in a variety of sizes, styles, and prices.

Heritage at Eagle Bend is situated in Aurora, just 25 miles from downtown Denver. This convenient location makes it easy for residents to enjoy all of Denver’s urban attractions as well as the community’s scenic beauty.

What the Locals Say

Local real estate expert Sarah Hertzenberg finds that the community’s scenery helps to make it stand out from some of Denver’s other large active adult communities. “Heritage at Eagle Bend is a little older, so it does have much more mature landscaping,” she tells us. “People like the bigger trees you can find in this community. There are also lots of hills throughout the community, so it has a different feel than nearby Sun City Anthem Ranch and Heritage Todd Creek which are relatively flat.”

Heritage at Eagle Bend opened in 2000 and completed construction in 2008. The residences, which include both single-family and attached homes, often feature an assortment of upscale design elements like granite countertops and walk-out basements. Many homes sit on prime lots with beautiful golf course or mountain views.

Heritage at Eagle Bend Amenities

As one of the community’s key features, the Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Course winds gracefully throughout the development. This 18-hole course was designed by golf course architect Arthur Hills to blend with the area’s native landscaping, mature trees, and lush terrain. Membership is open to the public, but the course also offers special membership packages for community residents.

In addition to golf, Heritage at Eagle Bend residents will find plenty of amenities at the 37,000 square-foot community clubhouse. This spacious recreation center includes a state-of-the-art fitness center with an indoor lap pool, a separate aerobics studio, hobby, and game rooms, a library, a computer lab, and a grand ballroom. The clubhouse also has a full-service restaurant with both indoor seating and a large outdoor patio overlooking the 18th hole.

Heritage at Eagle Bend’s beautiful grounds offers even more amenities. There is an outdoor resort-style swimming pool and spa, as well as sports courts for tennis and bocce ball. Miles of walking trails spread throughout the community, highlighting many scenic views of the mountains and golf course.

Though Heritage at Eagle Bend is an age-restricted active adult community, 15 percent of the community is open to younger residents, aged 45 to 54. In the rest of the community, at least one member of each household must be aged 55+.

When looking for an active adult community in the Denver area, Heritage at Eagle Bend offers an impressive setting with mature landscaping, a beautifully designed golf course and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Its resort-style amenities and wide range of homes make Heritage at Eagle Bend an ideal destination for those who want a true active adult lifestyle.
