Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head Announces Home Details

<p>Last month we found out that Minto Communities USA and Margaritaville Holdings would be <a href=holding the highly anticipated grand opening of Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head on Saturday, June 30. Today, we found out a lot more details about the models, home sizes, and most importantly, prices.

Per the announcement, potential buyers will be able to tour nine fully furnished model homes at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head on June 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Festivities running all day include a live band, steel drum entertainment, games, food, and giveaways. Guests will also have the chance to visit the newly opened Lake Latitude Club featuring a resort-style pool, sandy beach area, fitness center, and party room.

Homes

The first phase of Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head will include 203 homes but current plans call for around 3,000 homes upon completion of the entire community.

As for the residences, the model homes will range from three distinct villa and single-family home types. Caribbean, Beach, and Island. All low maintenance homes in Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head feature open, airy designs in order to maximize natural light as well as flow into outdoor living spaces meant for enjoying the mild South Carolina climate. Master suites feature large walk-in closets and raised height vanities in the master bath.

The villa home models, called Antigua, Barbuda, Jamaica, and Nevis, range from 1,558 to 1,862 square feet. Each includes two bedrooms, a den or hobby room, two bathrooms, a covered lanai, and a two-car garage. Prices for these homes start at $243,990.

The five single-family home models, dubbed Coconut, Parrot, Breeze, Aruba, and Trinidad, range between 2,080 and 2,564 square feet and include two to three bedrooms plus den, two to three-and-a-half baths, two- or three-car garages, and a covered lanai. Prices for these residences start at $293,990.

Amenities

Living in Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head comes with plenty of perks and access to amenities. The walkable neighborhoods and golf-cart friendly streets all culminate at the Town Center and Latitude Town Square where there will be plenty of live entertainment at the bandshell and dancing in the streets. The state-of-the-art Fins Up! Fitness Center will include an aerobics studio, indoor lap pool, spa, group fitness classes, and wellness and community programs.

Paradise Pool is sure to be a popular daily hangout here, especially considering it includes cabanas, tiki huts, and beach entry. For residents looking to stay active, there are tennis, pickleball, and bocce courts. Meanwhile, the Workin’ N’ Playin’ Center is where residents can take part in arts programs and craft workshops as well as programs offered in the Coconut Telegraph Business Center.

With so many activities on hand, residents are bound to work up an appetite. Good thing the Latitude Bar & Chill Restaurant and Changes in Attitude poolside bar will be onsite. 

Other community amenities include the Last Mango Theater for dances and banquets, The Hanger workshop for golf cart tune-ups, and the Barkaritaville Pet Spa and Dog Park. In addition to the community amenities, an adjoining 290,000-square-foot, golf cart-accessible neighborhood retail center is currently under development.

The Rise of Margaritaville

The Hilton Head location was the second Latitude Margaritaville community to be announced, following Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach, which was recently named the most popular active adult community of 2018 by 55places.com. A third community in the Florida Panhandle was announced in May and is expected to open in 2020.
