Premier builder PulteGroup purchased 205 acres of land within the Southern Groves section of the 8,300-acre master-planned community of Tradition in Port St. Lucie. The transaction occurred in December of last year for an undisclosed price. Pulte plans to build 550 homes inside the development, which will be its first active adult community under the Del Webb brand in Southeast Florida and will be called Del Webb at Tradition.
Del Webb at Tradition will be a 55+ community featuring single-family homes and attached villas designed to meet the needs of today’s active adult. The community will also provide exciting amenities at its grand clubhouse that will enhance residents’ wellness and social lifestyle. Some of the amenities will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style pool, dog park, on-site lifestyle director, and tennis, bocce ball, and pickleball courts. The 55+ community will be located off SW Village Parkway, North of Becker Road in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Construction and sales are scheduled to begin in 2017. Pulte plans to open a temporary sales office on Town Center Boulevard near Tradition Square during the building phase for Del Webb at Tradition.
