Crest Hill is a small city in Lockport Township and Will County, just outside of Joliet. The area is rural and near many rivers and forest preserves. The modest community is on the outskirts of the Chicagoland area, for residents who seek metropolitan amenities without the desire to live in a large city.

Located in Will County, Crest Hill is near the Kankakee River, Dupage River, Des Plaines River, and the Illinois and Michigan Canal. Other natural distinctions include the Forest Preserve District of Will County, the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, Channahon State Park and the Des Plaines Fish and Wildlife Area

The closest, Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center Joliet, is only a mile and a half away. Other nearby options include Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Edward Hospital in Naperville, Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, as well as Rush Copley Medical Center and Amita Health Mercy Medical Center which are both in Aurora.
