What Active Adults Can Get for $250k in Naples, Florida

Naples may have plenty of luxury living, but it also has options for active adults on a budget.

Naples provides an interesting dynamic for homeowners on Florida’s southern Gulf Coast. There are a lot of million-dollar homes in the area, and luxury living is easy to find. But, it’s not all about mansions and private yachts. There are also affordably priced homes in this part of paradise, and buyers won’t have to feel like they’re giving up swanky amenities or desirable locations.

Check out these active adult communities in Naples, which have new and resale homes available for $250k or less. Most of them don’t have age restrictions, but they still offer ideal living situations for buyers who may be considering a Florida retirement.

Vineyards

High $100s – Mid $2Ms

Residents would expect nothing less than routine wine tastings while living in a community called Vineyards, and that’s just one of the exceptional events at this active adult community. There are some homes that hit the seven-figure territory, but there are also reasonably-priced condos and attached villas that are comfortable, spacious, and priced at around $250k. Plus, buyers get all the same amenities, regardless of which home they choose. There are two golf courses, a spa, a resort-style pool, and a community park that spans 32 acres. Also, residents get together for special dinners and holiday parties.

New and resale properties are available at Vineyards, and there are 15 models to choose from. Housed in high rise buildings with elevators, condo units offer two or three bedrooms with between 1,772 and 2,245 square feet. Attached coach homes range from 2,077 to 3,282 square feet with two or three bedrooms, an extra den, and an attached two-car garage. This community is located in northern Naples, where most of the shopping, fine dining, and nightlife can be found.

Fiddler’s Creek

High  $100s – Mid $2Ms

A large master-planned community in Naples with a range of new construction and resale options, Fiddler’s Creek also provides a long list of amenities, lots of social events, and a diverse selection of housing in a non-age restricted neighborhood. There are 6,000 single-family homes and attached villas spread out over 3,931 well-landscaped acres.

A dozen collections with over 50 floor plans include three-bedroom quad homes with 1,710 square feet and sprawling 4,500-square-foot mansions with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. In this community, buyers can find plenty of homes that meet their needs for $250k.

Amenities are members-only and include two championship golf courses, a club and spa, and plenty of restaurants. There are pools, tennis courts, and private beach access with a marina, boat slips, and boat storage. Live music, pool parties, special interest classes, and happy hours are also frequently held.

Heritage Bay

High $100s – Low $700s

A gated community without age restrictions, Heritage Bay is home to 1,400 properties. Its large clubhouse has a fitness center, a spa, and an aerobics studio. There are two restaurants and a dining room, as well as a card room, a library, and a billiards area. Outside, there are 27 holes of country club golf, six pools, two pickleball courts, and seven tennis courts. Residents enjoy walking and biking trails, which pass through picturesque lakeside landscaping.

Resale homes are available as condos, attached homes, and single-family houses. Condos have two bedrooms and two bathrooms with 1,194 to 1,408 square feet. Larger units in the Veranda Collection come with a den and an attached one- or two-car garage. New and resale homes are comfortably within the $250k range at Reflection Lakes, which is close to downtown and yet surrounded by 30 acres of freshwater lakes and nature preserves. The community is on the smaller side compared to other active adult neighborhoods in the area, with 612 single-family and attached homes in a variety of floor plans and models. Townhomes have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an attached one-car garage, and 1,368 to 1,710 square feet. Attached villas are 1,417 to 2,222 square feet with two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage.

Amenities include a clubhouse with a catering kitchen, a fitness center, a community center, and a business center. Outdoors, the pool includes a splash pool for children. and there’s space for sand volleyball, tennis, and basketball. The community is not age-restricted, making it an ideal place for multi-generational families to live together.

Riviera Golf Estates

Below $100k – Mid $200s 

Buyers with $250k to spend will find a large selection of Naples homes for sale in Riviera Golf Estates, a 55+ community with an 18-hole golf course that offers pay-to-play rates. Additional amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center, a library, a card room, and multi-purpose rooms. Outside, there’s a large resort-style pool, courts for tennis and pickleball, and a place to play bocce ball. Residents can also be found on the shuffleboard courts or enjoying the many walking and biking paths throughout the community.

Condo homes are in two-story buildings and include private courtyard space. They have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of parking, and 1,025 to 1,700 square feet. Single-family homes have 672 to 2,158 square feet, two or three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Most of these models come with an attached two-car garage.
