The city is home to a number of outdoor attractions including forest preserves, state parks, and fruit orchards. Some of the most popular locations are Bogut Farm, Providence Park, and the Edward-Dean Museum of Decorative Arts. Additionally, Wildwood Canyon State Park and Oak Glen Preserve are just outside the town.
Downtown, residents can find different amenities like local restaurants, boutique shops, and farmers markets.
Just a half-hour drive from San Bernardino, residents can enjoy even more amenities like the San Bernardino National Forest, local history museums, and the Inland Center shopping complex.

Within 15 miles of Cherry Valley are four hospitals that are rated high performing by U.S News. They are San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley Medical Center, Hemet Valley Medical Center, and Redlands Community Hospital. In Redlands, residents will find Loma Linda University Medical Center, which is nationally ranked in gynecology and rated high performing in six adult procedures.
