Florida residents have the benefit of year-round sunshine, which means outdoor swimming can be done in February as easily as it’s done in August. But sometimes, indoor pools are more appealing, especially for swimmers who prefer to stay out of the sun or in heated water.

Plenty of 55+ communities throughout The Sunshine State offer their residents access to an indoor pool. We’re taking a look at these top picks.

SolivitaKissimmee, FL

High $100s – Mid $600s

Central Florida is full of attractions and hotspots, and in Kissimmee, the place to be for 55+ residents is Solivita. The Riviera Spa & Fitness Center has a heated indoor pool, a sauna, and lots of other amenities like a fitness center, a dance studio, and an air-conditioned walking track. Plenty of outdoor pools are also available throughout the neighborhoods, and golfers will enjoy the two 18-hole courses, aquatic driving range, and putting green at Stonegate Golf Club. 

New construction and resale single-family homes and attached villas are available in a range of prices, and buyers can choose from models ranging from 891 to 3,057 square feet.
