Using internal data, we’ve ranked the five fastest-selling communities in Florida, based on the average number of days that homes spent on the market in that region. Here’s where you’ll find the fastest-moving communities in Florida.

1. Highland Lakes on Lake TarponPalm Harbor, FL

Florida homes sell the fastest at Highland Lakes on Lake Tarpon, a 55+ community with great amenities and a much sought-after location. Palm Harbor is close to the water, and it’s easy to reach cities like Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Tampa.

Amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center, an arts & crafts center, and a large resort-style pool. The Lake Tarpon Lodge hosts special events, club meetings, and community activities. Coming as no surprise, On Top of the World in Ocala is one of the most popular 55+ communities in central Florida, and homes are selling quickly because they’re in high demand. With 10,000 new construction and resale homes, extensive amenities, and unique opportunities for social and physical activity, it’s no wonder active adults gravitate towards this sprawling community just off Interstate 75.

Some of the favorite amenities among residents include the fitness centers and pools, steam rooms and saunas, a woodworking shop, and community gardening plots. There are tennis, shuffleboard, bocce ball, and pickleball courts. At Circle Square Commons—the community’s educational and entertainment hub—homeowners can find an ice cream shop, deli, and cultural center. Events, concerts, and farmers’ markets are always happening inside of the community and more than 100 social and specialty clubs meet regularly, including a ballet club, a chess club, and groups specific to snowbirds and singles.
