Nashville has also experienced a growing economy and job market, which makes it an attractive area for new residents and retirees.

With a cost of living below the national average, retirees can comfortably live on a fixed income in the Nashville area. Tennessee also has the third-lowest tax burden in the nation and has no income tax, which is appealing to retirees. Southern Springs will offer a variety of home designs featuring some of Del Webb’s most popular floor plans. In addition to quality low-maintenance homes, residents will also enjoy resort-style amenities. Plans call for a luxurious clubhouse with an indoor lap pool, fitness center, aerobics area, and ballroom.   1. I would like any communities in the Nashville Area, with price point of the low $200,000 to $230,000 for two bedrooms & 2 baths with 2 car garage, I would like Brochures sent to me instead of on the INTERNET all the communities are not giving me price point

  2. I looked at a couple of these and they say “sorry, no homes for sale currently”. What’s the deal with that?

      In some smaller communities, there may not always be homes on the market. We recommend checking back, as our listings update as soon as new homes become available.

  3. would like communities close to Knoxville area with 2-3 bedrooms, 2 car garage in 200,000 to 260,000 price tag. please email any info for us in that area, thank you.

  4. Looking for a community that I can have a separate garage. Home around 2300 sq ft single story, bonus room okay.

  5. I was looking at annual weather for TN. Apparently the annual rainfall is somewhat excessive. Can anyone who lives there (Nashville area) advise? Thank you.

    1. It usually rains a lot in spring and early summer with a bit of flooding. Then it tends to barely rain from late summer into fall. Nashville also has oppressive humidity and very high temperatures. Traffic has become horrible with no solution in sight. I am leaving next year when I retire. Good luck to you folks moving here.
