Westbrook Village is a mid-sized active adult community located in Peoria, Arizona, on the northern edge of Del Webb’s original Sun City development. This prime location is a popular destination for many active adults who want newer homes in the Phoenix Valley area. And, with a lower age-restriction, active adults as young as 40 are welcome to make Westbrook Village their next home.

Amenities

With two clubhouses and a full-service golf club, Westbrook Village has plenty of amenities to support an active adult lifestyle. The spacious Lakes Recreation Center has facilities to support hobbies such as woodworking, lapidary and pottery. There are billiards, a computer room, and an aerobics studio.

Recreation

Outdoors, residents can enjoy a large, resort-style swimming pool with a separate lap area, a heated spa, tennis courts, and horseshoe pits.

The Vistas Recreation Center also hosts outdoor recreations including a large, resort-style swimming pool, a hot tub, tennis courts, and bocce ball courts. Indoors, the center includes a spacious multipurpose room which is primarily used for table tennis and dances, well-equipped exercise rooms, a ceramics room, a sewing room, and a stained glass shop.

Dining

The center’s Sunset Bistro is a friendly restaurant that serves lunch and dinner daily, as well as a Sunday breakfast. The Links Neighborhood Grill is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant also hosts a weekly Friday Night Fish Fry.

The Westbrook Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses, each with their own locker rooms, pro shop, restaurants, and practice facilities. The par-71 Lakes Course features rolling greens, mature landscaping and strategic water hazards. While the 6,400-yard, par-72 Vistas Course is a challenging links-style course.

Fine Arts and Clubs

In addition to the golf club and main recreation centers, Westbrook Village also offers the Fine Arts and Learning Center. This small facility is located next to the Vistas Recreation Center. It includes a photography lab, an art studio, a book and video library, and multipurpose meeting rooms.

Westbrook Village provides numerous special interest clubs to meet the needs of its diverse residents. There are clubs for hobbies including various arts and crafts, like painting, ceramics, woodworking, pottery, and photography.

Over two dozen card clubs let residents regularly join in on their favorite games, and various social clubs help residents get to know their neighbors and make new friends. There are many other special interest clubs as well, including book clubs, sports clubs, and volunteer services.
