With a scenic setting in historic Williamsburg, Virginia, Colonial Heritage is a golf community designed for resort-style living. Active adults aged 55 or better will love the fabulous amenities and luxurious homes. Opened in 2004, by Lennar Homes, Colonial Heritage has plans for approximately 1,800 homes in both attached duplex and single-family designs. Homebuyers can currently choose from available resale or new construction homes. These upscale residences feature appealing touches like gourmet kitchens with Corian countertops and high-end GE appliances, as well as spacious master bedroom suites with luxurious bathrooms and large walk-in closets.

Whether looking for resale or new construction homes, active adults can find designs to meet their needs. Floor plans throughout the community are sized from 1,366 to 2,825 square feet. Most homes include two or three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms and two-car garages. The largest models may feature three or four bedrooms, up to four-and-a-half bathrooms, separate dens and two- or three-car garages.

While Colonial Heritage has both one-story and two-story homes, each floor plans is designed for main-level living. Homes with second-story lofts still include first-floor master bedroom suites.

Beyond its beautiful homes, Colonial Heritage boasts a wide range of resort-style amenities. The 25,000 square-foot clubhouse invites residents to socialize with hobby and game rooms, multipurpose meeting rooms, a cozy library and the Magnolia Dining Room. The state-of-the-art fitness center features cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, as well as an aerobics and dance studio, and an indoor lap pool. There is also a woodworking shop and a golf pro shop.

The clubhouse’s covered veranda is an ideal area for residents to enjoy the lovely Virginia weather. There is also an outdoor swimming pool that is open during the summer months, four tennis courts and two bocce ball courts.

At the Colonial Heritage Golf Club, resident golfers can enjoy challenging play with a par-72, 18-hole course designed by Arthur Hills. This championship course spreads across 6,889 yards from its longest tees, featuring native landscaping and natural scenery.

Along with its resort-style amenities, Colonial Heritage offers many special-interest clubs and community events. Just a few of these clubs highlight popular hobbies like card games, sports, line dancing, arts and crafts, book discussion, stamp collecting and travel.
