Tucked between the North Georgia Mountains and the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia, Soleil Laurel Canyon in Canton is an age-restricted community designed with an active lifestyle in mind. The spacious clubhouse and well-maintained grounds provide all the amenities needed to meet a diverse range of interests, while the prime Canton location lets residents explore some of the finest attractions in the state.

With attractive single-family homes and impressive amenities, Soleil Laurel Canyon is a top contender for active adults looking for homes for sale in Canton, Georgia.

A Grand Clubhouse

At the heart of the community, the 28,000 square-foot grand clubhouse brings neighbors together with an exciting line-up of amenities and activities. This impressive facility features many of the same amenities available in larger communities, despite the fact that Soleil Laurel Canyon has plans to build just 978 single-family homes upon completion.

Highlights of the grand clubhouse include a theater and performing arts center, a gourmet demonstration kitchen, two card rooms, and a billiards hall. Residents with a creative flair can make good use of an arts and crafts studio complete with two kilns, while multipurpose meeting rooms support a wide range of groups and activities. Everyone can enjoy relaxing in the fireside lounge or on the expansive clubhouse patio.

Health-minded residents will love the Grand Clubhouse’s state-of-the-art fitness center. This facility includes high-end cardiovascular and strength-training equipment as well as a separate aerobics studio and private massage rooms. There is also an indoor saline lap pool that is heated for year-round use.

The Grand Clubhouse offers 28,000 square feet of indoor amenities and abundant outdoor recreations.

Outdoor Amenities

At the back of the clubhouse, residents can enjoy a large resort-style swimming pool with a lagoon entry and spacious sundeck. Just beyond the pool, sports courts include six clay and two all-weather tennis courts, as well as a bocce area beside a scenic lake. Although there is no on-site golf course, the community is adjacent to the challenging 18-hole course at the Canton Golf Course and Club.

Beyond these resort-style amenities, Soleil Laurel Canyon’s scenic grounds create a setting that will appeal to resident nature lovers. There are community garden plots, an on-site greenhouse, a lakeside gazebo, and an outdoor amphitheater. Walking trails also wind throughout the scenic community.

A Variety of Home Styles

When it comes to homes, buyers can choose between available resale and new construction single-family homes for sale in a wide range of styles, sizes, and prices. The community’s first homes were built by Levitt & Sons, while new homes today are constructed by Active Lifestyle Communities.

Homebuyers interested in new construction can currently choose from many different home models, ranging from about 1,518 to 2,996 square feet. These low-maintenance homes are thoughtfully designed with open floor plans and main-level living. Each home has a minimum of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-car garage. Most models include a choice between a den or third bedroom. The largest homes have three bedrooms and three bathrooms with an optional den or fourth bedroom.
