Set in the beautiful Coachella Valley, Sun City Shadow Hills is a golf community which offers luxurious living with an exciting line-up of amenities including a 35,000 square-foot clubhouse and numerous outdoor recreations. The community opened in 2003 with plans for 3,200 single-family homes, ranging in sizes and styles to meet the needs of many different active adults.

Sun City Shadow Hills is the second community Del Webb has built in the Coachella Valley. It is located in Indio, just two miles from Sun City Palm Desert and 15 miles from Palm Springs. Many active adults are drawn to the area for its fabulous weather and world-class attractions, but they also turn to Sun City Shadow Hills for its modern floor plans and luxurious amenities.

The community’s spacious Monticello Clubhouse contains many diverse social and recreational amenities. Hobby and game rooms include an arts and crafts studio, a library, a computer center, a card room and a billiards hall.

An additional facility, the Santa Rosa Clubhouse, provides even more amenities, such as a fitness center, game room, meeting rooms and the Santa Rosa Cafe.

Outdoors, the amenities continue with a resort-style swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, walking trails, a pet park and an outdoor amphitheater. The Shadow Hills Golf Course winds throughout the community, providing challenging play for resident golfers and beautiful scenery for the whole community. The golf club also offers its own clubhouse with a pro shop, full-service restaurant and practice facilities. Single-family homes in Sun City Shadow Hills are currently available as both new construction and resale homes.

New construction homes are being built in Phase 3, near the Santa Rosa Clubhouse. They are available in ten floor plans ranging in size from 1,321 to 2,955 square feet. Each has a minimum of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an attached two-car garage. Available resale homes can be found in Phases 1 and 2 of the community. They were originally built in a wide range of floor plans with sizes ranging from 1,099 to 2,971 square feet.
