Houses come equipped with single, double, and three car garages and feature tile or asphalt roofs.

Homes are reasonably priced and include duplexes, condos, attached, and detached homes, which range in sizes from 630 to 3,400 square feet. Traditional floor plans are common, so are vaulted ceilings as well as floors with smaller type tiles. Some previous owners may have done upgrades and these will be reflected in resale prices. HOA fees are reasonable and vary in cost according to landscaping preferences. Some homes feature desert landscaping, while others have grass.

Leisure World Lifestyle

Hikes north to the high desert in the mountains are especially popular. Travel agents are on the grounds to assist with more complex plans and vacation needs. Residents run many different clubs and organizations which cater to every interest imaginable, including groups for diverse religious practices.

Mary B. (Resident/Homeowner)

I moved to Leisure World nearly 2 years ago and am very happy with the community so far. The condo I purchased was a great deal. I was willing to pay a little extra in the monthly fees to live in a condo with no maintenance to worry about taking care of. I've met a lot of other single women just like me and have pleasantly surprised with how friendly everyone is. I feel like part of a family here and that's been very important to me. The privacy here is nice too. There are gated entries so you have a feeling of safety and security too. I've taken fitness classes, done golfing lessons, water aerobics and I'm still trying new things!
