Her business has included residential re-sales, luxury home sales, new construction, short sales, and foreclosure sales. The variety in work keeps her on her toes, so she constantly educates herself on the latest trends! Before becoming the team leader of the Katie Mudd Real Estate Group at Samson Properties, she served as a Production Manager for a real estate office of over 200 agents, as a Pre-License Real Estate Instructor, and as the Sales Coordinator for a home builder. She has been a Realtor for over 14 years, enjoys working with a diverse group of personalities, and prides herself on quickly gaining the confidence of her clients. Katie is a Realtor and Associate Broker with the SRES and SFR designations.
Katie resides in Spotsylvania, VA with her family whom she is very proud of! Her husband, Mic, is a retired Marine Officer and enjoys bicycling. Her son, Nick, works for an electronics firm in Fredericksburg and attended Germanna Community College. Butter, her Golden Retriever, and Major, her German Shepherd, entertain the family constantly. Katie enjoys gardening, cooking, and a good day of shopping!

Katie and her team were so professional in their handling of the sale of our home. She arrived at our first meeting prior to listing with a notebook of current information on pricing and current sales. I was impressed with her attention to the details we wanted to know even prior to meeting us. Her support team members were equally impressive. The photos of our home were so beautiful I wanted to buy it myself all over again! Our home sold within days of the listing going on line. Katie helped with advice on pricing to fit our situation, was in touch with us throughout the steps leading up to the sale and issues that crept up on the day of closing. She was dependable and responsive as well as knowledgeable, the voice of calm in stressful situations. We were fortunate to have her as our agent.

Our home purchase went flawlessly. Katie and her team walked us through every step of the purchase. She always answered our questions and scheduled all of our inspections and worked with our lender to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner.
