Active adults seeking a gated community should take a look at these options in Northern Arizona.

Northern Arizona is different from Central and Southern Arizona. There’s less of the desert landscape most associated with the state, and more in the way of forests and mountains. It’s cooler in summer, and it has snowy winters. It appeals to people who like the outdoors lifestyle, and those who don’t want the big city living of somewhere like Phoenix.

Some active adults prefer gated communities, while some prefer more open communities, but before you decide, check out all the pros and cons of gated communities. There are several gated communities in Northern Arizona, mostly in and around Prescott with one in the small town of Cornville.
