Kolter Homes has just unveiled its first phase of model homes at its first 55+ community in North Carolina: Cresswind Charlotte. This new active adult community coming to Charlotte, North Carolina will host 850 Craftsman-style single-family homes spread across 370 acres of woodlands. Homes are priced starting in the mid $200s.

All single-family homes in Cresswind Charlotte come with low-maintenance exteriors, energy-efficient construction, and manicured landscaping. They feature gourmet kitchens, large master suites, and optional flex and game rooms. Cresswind Charlotte will also provide residents with amenities such as an 18,000-square-foot clubhouse, a fitness center, a catering kitchen, an indoor and outdoor pool, an event lawn, walking and biking trails, and tennis, pickleball, and bocce courts.

An on-site activities director will also be available in this 55+ community. The builder hosted an invite-only model preview event on June 24 that attracted about 300 interested buyers. Since the model homes are now complete, Kolter Homes is now selling homes to buyers who signed up on their community’s special interest list. Kolter Homes is planning an official grand opening event later this month for the public.
