Set in Loudoun County, Virginia, Potomac Green offers a lovely retreat between the Blue Ridge Mountains and Washington D.C. This 1,400-home community welcomes active adults aged 55 or better with exciting amenities, activities and special events. A wide range of special-interest clubs also makes it easy for residents to make friends and pursue new hobbies.

Potomac Green began as a co-branded venture between Centex Homes and Del Webb in 2005, and switched to the Del Webb name after the companies merged in 2010. The community was originally developed with attached villas and single-family homes, which are now available on a resale basis. Today, homebuyers also have the option of choosing a new-construction condo in Potomac Green’s beautiful new elevator condo buildings.

Potomac Green’s condo buildings are ideal for active adults who want low-maintenance living in a great location. There are five different floor plans, ranging in size from 890 to 1,662 square feet. Each unit includes two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and an assigned parking place.The Davenport model also has a separate den.

In addition to its elevator condos, Potomac Green includes a wide variety of attached villas and single-family homes. Quad Villas by Centex Homes and Triplex Villas by Del Webb each offer main-level living with first-floor master bedroom suites. Models were originally offered with floor plans ranging from 1,314 to 2,345 square feet. Depending on the model, attached villas may include two to four bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a one or two-car garage.

Single-family homes at Potomac Green were built by both Centex Homes and Del Webb, in sizes ranging from 1,673 to 2,919 square feet. Most homes are two-story, but every model includes a first-floor master bedroom suite. Single-family homes feature one to three bedrooms, one-and-a-half to three bathrooms, and two-car garages. Many also have separate dens.

Beyond its beautiful homes, Potomac Green brings residents together with a number of indoor and outdoor amenities. The 29,000 square-foot clubhouse offers social areas including cards and billiards rooms, an arts and crafts studio, a library and a spacious multipurpose room. The state-of-the-art fitness center features cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, as well as an aerobics and dance studio, an indoor walking track and an indoor lap pool.

Outdoors, the amenities continue with a resort-style swimming pool, a comfortable patio, three tennis courts and four bocce ball courts. The beautiful grounds also include walking and biking trails which make it easy to explore the community, and gardening plots for resident gardeners.
