Brandywine is an established 55+ gated community located in Fort Myers, Florida with 351 attached villas and condominiums built between 1983 and 1988. Brandywine is one of the few communities in South Florida that has a 55+ age restriction, providing the exclusivity that active adults are looking for today.

Homebuyers are drawn to Brandywine for its affordable housing and active lifestyle. Residents take advantage of two outdoor pools, multiple tennis and shuffleboard courts, and an exercise room to keep up with their physical health. The Brandywine Homeowner's Association schedules many activities and clubs so homeowners can live stress-free and enjoy time with neighbors and friends.

Brandywine Amenities

Brandywine's intimate community is designed for active adults aged 55 or better. Most of the social scene at Brandywine takes place in the clubhouse. Residents enjoy playing a game of billiards or bridge in the game room as well as taking advantage of the billiards and library for fun and relaxation. The clubhouse also has an exercise room where residents attend fitness classes like low-impact training or workout on their own.

Outdoor amenities include two beautiful swimming pools, a spa, and spacious outdoor patio where homeowners can relax under the Florida sunshine. There are also walking trails, a picnic area, two outdoor tennis and shuffleboard courts as well as a pickleball court.

Residents with a green thumb are encouraged to visit Brandywine's Remembrance Garden. The Remembrance Garden was conceived in 1998 and is a major community project at Brandywine. Volunteers, along with the garden club, maintain this gorgeous garden. There are many native plants that attract butterflies providing a picturesque backdrop to practice photography or take an afternoon stroll.

Brandywine Homes & Real Estate

Brandywine's gated community of 351 homes includes low-rise condos and attached villas. The highly desired villas are single-level attached homes that range from 1,700 to 2,500 square feet with at least two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-car garage. For homebuyers who prefer condominiums, condo buildings consist of four units with two units on the first floor, and two units on the second floor. Condos come with an attached one-car garage, at least two bedrooms, and two bathrooms as well.

Residents of Brandywine appreciate the low monthly homeowners' association (HOA) fee that covers outdoor lawn maintenance and maintains common areas throughout the community.
