Kings Gate by Benderson Communities is a gated, active adult community situated in Port Charlotte, Florida. It is located one mile west of I-75 on Kings Highway, ten minutes away from a shopping mall and attractions. The area is less congested than other coastal areas in Florida, but close enough to modern conveniences and beautiful beaches along the Gulf Coast.

Kings Gate Homes & Real Estate 

Benderson Communities developed Kings Gate between 2002 to 2014. Neal Communities has now taken over construction and plans to complete the 650 attached and single-family homes and 270 villas that make up this 55+ community. 

The Villas by Neal Communities come in six models ranging between 1,395 and 1,709 square feet. These attached homes offer two to three bedrooms, den spaces, and two bathrooms. Each home has an attached two-car garage.

The single-family homes come in seven models and range from 1,397 to 2,021 square feet. Single-family homes in Kings Gate have two or three bedrooms, two baths, and an attached two or two-and-a-half-car garage.

The golf villas are attached homes and come in six different floor plans designed to offer between 1,393 to 1,705 square feet of living space. All golf villas have one or two bedrooms, two baths, covered lanais, and attached two-car garages. Homeowners' association fees at Kings Gate include cable, lawn maintenance, irrigation, and use of the clubhouse.
