About Ave Maria

The completed 18-hole Golf Club at Del Webb Ave Maria is a magnificent Troon Golf course that winds through Del Webb Naples. The Golf Club at Del Webb was designed by legendary golf course architect Gordon Lewis. It includes a large practice facility with an aqua driving range, five practice greens, a short game area and a fully stocked pro shop. Residents of Del Webb Naples receive a complimentary membership with their home purchase. Members enjoy discounted green fees or can purchase full golf memberships that offer unlimited golf.

Ave Maria Amenities

As part of the Ave Maria master plan, residents of Del Webb Naples also enjoy access to the many wonderful amenities throughout the all-ages portion of the development. At the heart of Ave Maria, FL is La Piazza, a vibrant Mediterranean-themed town center with intimate boutiques, casual and fine dining restaurants and gathering places. The town center surrounds the Oratory Church and a sprawling courtyard. The square is anchored by lively retail and commercial outlets such as a Publix grocery store, gas station, ice cream parlor, bank, salon, book store, jewelry store and florist.

There are two planned community centers in Ave Maria that will each include a fine assortment of attractive amenities. Construction of the community centers began in 2010. The North Community Center is a family oriented clubhouse that will include an indoor basketball court, state-of-the-art fitness center, spinning and aerobics studios, short-term day care and multi-purpose rooms. Adjacent to the North Community Center will be the Ave Maria Tennis Center, which will include 17 Har-Tru tennis courts, a stadium-style court and pro shop. On the south side of Ave Maria, the South Fitness Center will be a more adult oriented facility adjacent to Del Webb Naples. The facility is planned to include a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool and spa, aerobics studio, massage rooms and men’s and women’s steam rooms.

There are many small neighborhood parks throughout Ave Maria plus two large completed community parks. The North Park includes soccer fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, picnic pavilions and a playground. The South Park adjacent to Del Webb Naples has a softball field, bocce ball courts, pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, an amphitheatre, dog park and picnic pavilions.

The completed Ave Maria Water Park is a great place for adults to exercise as well as the perfect spot to take grandkids when they come to visit. The Water Park includes a resort-style pool with beach entry, a fitness pool with 25-meter lap lanes and a kids pool with waterslides and interactive play features.
