Lely Resort Overview

Lely Resort in Naples, FL is set amidst nearly 3,000 acres of azure lakes and pristine preserves along Florida's southwest coast. This non age-restricted community offers a resort-like lifestyle, amenity-filled clubhouses and three championship golf courses surrounded by warm and friendly neighborhoods of condominiums, townhomes, coach homes, villas, single-family homes and custom-built estate homes.

There are currently more than 4,000 homes in Lely Resort and upon completion the community is expected to contain approximately 4,506 residences. There are over 40 individual neighborhoods in Lely Resort that consist of anywhere between a few dozen to over 100 homes each. Stock Development purchased Lely Resort in 2001 and has since introduced an exciting lineup of housing options spread throughout several neighborhoods. Homebuyers can select new construction homes from various builders or opt for one of the many resale homes on the real estate market.

Lely Resort is not a 55+ age-restricted community, however, the amenities and lifestyle offered by the community has made it particularly appealing to active adults and retirees. A majority of the community is comprised of 55 and better adults who enjoy a physically and socially active lifestyle in a relaxing environment. Most of the activities and amenities in Lely Resort are centered around the community's clubhouses and golf courses. Residents of Lely Resort can also take advantage of the various membership options that are offered for golf, social and fitness access to Lely's world-class amenities.

Lely Resort Amenities

At the heart of Lely Resort is the Players Club & Spa. This magnificent nine-acre, tropical retreat boasts 20,000 square feet of amenities under one roof that include a club room, full service spa, arts & crafts studio, multi-purpose room, billiards, and business center with computers. The Players Club & Spa also includes a 3,500 square-foot fitness center that has the latest high-end cardiovascular and weight-training equipment with a staff of personal trainers to help you make the most out of your workout. An aerobics and dance studio offers classes in group cycling, pilates, yoga and strength conditioning. The spa offers a menu of body and facial treatments, massage therapies and natural beauty products where you can pamper yourself with a manicure, pedicure or a poolside massage.

Surrounding the Players Club & Spa is a gorgeous outdoor lagoon-style pool with waterfalls surrounded by a spacious sundeck, sand area and poolside cabanas. An additional outdoor lap and exercise pool promotes activity through various aqua fitness classes. The Tiki Bar near the pool serves ice-cold tropical drinks and snacks. For Lely Resort residents looking to stay active there are 12 lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, bocce ball courts, a half basketball court and an outdoor yoga garden.

In addition to the Players Club & Spa, Lely Resort offers a second amenity complex called the Village Center in the Ole neighborhood that is available only to Ole residents. Ole is one of Lely Resort's residential neighborhoods. The Village Center is a Mediterranean-themed town center where Ole residents can come together and relax, mingle and play. The Village Center is reminiscent of a small village and it features a 20,000 square-foot clubhouse with a relaxing resort-style outdoor pool and a full-service concierge. The Bistro in the Village Center offers fine dining for up to 90 patrons. For lighter fare the Ole Pub has hearth style pizza and Friday night happy hours. Some residents enjoy sipping on a latte at the Internet cafe or having an ice cream cone at the Village Center ice cream parlor.

The Village Center is a short walk or bicycle ride from nearly every home in Ole. The Village Center is seamlessly intertwined with the community via parks and inviting pedestrian walkways. Ole members can further enjoy tennis courts, beach volleyball, racquetball, bocce ball and basketball courts. Residents of the Ole neighborhood at Lely are automatically members of the Village Center and can also join The Players Club & Spa and the Lely Country Club for additional fees.

The Classics Country Club at Lely Resort offers three amazing golf courses. The Classics by Gary Player is a private 6,805-yard, par-72 course that features gentle contours and requires careful planning that rewards well-placed shots. A membership is required to play at The Classics golf course. The Flamingo Island course by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. is a public course that uses strategic implementation of water as both a scenic compliment and a formidable hazard. The signature par-3 fifth hole, "Flamingo Island" is a picturesque island completely surrounded by water and accessible to the mainland by bridges. The third course, The Mustang, was designed by Lee Trevino and is a public 7,200-yard, par-72 course with generous fairways and a forgiving layout. Residents of Lely Resort can choose from full golf, social sport or social membership options.

Lely Resort Homes & Real Estate

Since its inception, Lely Resort has offered a multitude of housing options that range from intimate condos to luxurious custom-built estate homes. In all, there are over 40 different neighborhoods in Lely Resort and each offers a distinctive style of resort living. Lely Resort has been a dream come true for us! We've been here almost a year now and it's exceeded our expectations all around. The outdoor swimming pool is my favorite and my husband plays golf numerous times every week.

Our home is gorgeous and we have a beautiful pool! We were not interested in downsizing because we wanted plenty of room for our kids and grandkids when they visit. The house is perfect for us and we get lots of compliments from our friends when they visit.

The community is very well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful. I especially love the fountains and water features. It's so nice to just drive through and admire everything! The amenities are really resort-like and offer everything you could want, all close to home.
