Wondering what there is to do outside of the Sun City Carolina Lakes community? Conveniently located near the North Carolina and South Carolina border, downtown Charlotte is just 25 miles away. There’s plenty of shopping, dining, entertainment, and hospitals nearby. Most everyday shopping, however, takes place at the Carolina Commons Shopping Center near the entrance of the community and is accessible by golf cart for residents.
