Del Webb’s newest active adult community, located just outside of Raleigh in Fuquay-Varina, is now selling. Plans for the age-restricted Del Webb Carolina Gardens include a total of 820 single-family, ranch-style homes upon final completion. More than 50 homes have already been sold, and the community’s first units are scheduled to open later this spring, allowing residents to move in as early as April—if all goes according to plan.

The community is ideal for active adults currently on the hunt for new construction homes just outside of Raleigh and its surrounding areas. From its vast selection of floor plans to its many amenities, here’s what to expect from the new development.

Homes for Sale

The community will offer potential buyers 11 ranch-style floor plans ranging from 1,223 to 3,683 square feet. Options will have two to five bedrooms, two to four-and-a-half bathrooms, and two- or three-car garages. Homes will have open floor plans with well-thought-out spaces. Some popular features that can be found throughout the builder’s plans include owner’s suites with walk-in closets, covered lanais, flex rooms, and generously sized kitchens. Prices within the development range from the high $200s to the low $400s.

Community Amenities and Lifestyle

Homeowners will have access to a wide variety of planned amenities, including an expansive 20,500-square-foot amenity center that will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center, an aerobics studio, craft rooms, a number of multipurpose rooms, and an indoor pool. Outside amenities are just as impressive with a resort-style pool and patio area, a community garden, and a dog park as well as tennis, bocce, and pickleball courts. There will also be plenty of greenspaces in the community with pocket parks spread throughout.

Along with its many amenities, Del Webb Carolina Gardens will also have a full-time Lifestyle Director on staff, who will be in charge of planning community events and social engagements throughout the year. Planned activities will range from group fitness classes to community outings. As the neighborhood grows and expands, residents will also have the opportunity to create/join organized clubs that appeal to their favorite interests and hobbies.

Living in Fuquay-Varina

Situated just 30 minutes southwest of Raleigh in Fuquay-Varina, Del Webb Carolina Gardens not only gives its residents easy access to the capital city, which is full of cultural amenities and entertainment options, but also everything the renowned Research Triangle region has to offer.

The development is conveniently located near many daily necessities like grocery stores, retail shopping centers, pharmacies, and medical facilities as well as places like the Devils Ridge Golf Club and Ting Park Athletic Complex. It’s also only five minutes from downtown Fuquay-Varina’s main street, which is teeming with local eateries, boutiques, and more.

Residents who like to travel will especially appreciate that the Raleigh-Durham International Airport can be reached within a 35-minute drive.
