One of the most anticipated 55+ communities in the country is a step closer to welcoming new residents. Minto Communities has announced that Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head will host its grand opening on Saturday, June 30. Located in Hardeeville, South Carolina, Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head will eventually include 3,000 single-family homes as well as a wide variety of amenities inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s music and lifestyle
On June 30, active adults will be able to tour nine model homes in the community. The day will also mark the opening of the Lake Latitude Club, a clubhouse that includes a fitness center, social hall, resort-style pool, and sandy beach area. Each home and amenity will feature modern finishes, state-of-the-art technology, and of course, a Margaritaville-inspired design. Home prices will start in the low $200s and rise into the high $500s.
Besides touring your future home and private amenity center, Minto will also be hosting a street festival perfect for Parrotheads. Expect to mingle with future neighbors while listening to Buffett’s music and enjoying Margaritaville-inspired food and drinks.
This is the first look at the Hilton Head area’s newest active adult paradise and interest is very high. The first phase of 200 homes is expected to sell out quickly.
This news comes a week after Minto announced a third Jimmy Buffett-inspired community, Latitude Margaritaville Watersound, which will be located near Panama Beach on Florida’s Panhandle. This follows the success of the original Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach, FL, as well as Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head.
