Encore at Briar Chapel is ideal for potential homebuyers looking for a small community in the greater Raleigh and Durham areas. The 185-home community boasts resort-style amenities and has homes available in 10 different floor plans with sizes ranging from 1,591 to 3,127 square feet. Active adults living in the neighborhood won’t have trouble staying in shape with more than 900 acres of greenspace and 24 miles of walking and biking trails spread throughout the community.

Floor plans range from 1,781 to 2,224 square feet with two to five bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage added on. Villas of Wake Forest is a gated 55+ community that features 144 homes. The age-restricted community has resale homes available in four different floor plans that range from 1,563 to 1,860 square feet.

Although it’s one of the smaller communities in North Carolina, Villas at Wake Forest offers many of the same amenities that can be found throughout larger communities, including a clubhouse, TV lounge, catering kitchen, exercise room, heated outdoor pool, bocce ball courts, and even a putting green.
