Timber Greens is an affordable active adult community offering exciting amenities and lovely homes.

With less than 800 homes, Timber Greens is a comfortably sized community with a beautiful location in Florida’s Tampa Bay area. The community features a country club setting with an 18-hole golf course, yet its homes are affordable for most active adult homebuyers. Outside its gates, Timber Greens offers a location that is within easy reach of Gulf Coast beaches, retail centers, restaurants, medical facilities and more.

Timber Greens was developed by U.S. Homes and Regency Homes, between 1994 and 2004, in New Port Richey, Florida. Today, the community’s 783 villas and single-family homes are available on a resale basis to homebuyers aged 55 and older.

Amenities

While Timber Greens is smaller than many active adult communities in the Tampa Bay area, it features a number of appealing amenities. The spacious clubhouse serves as the center of social and recreational activity. This elegant facility offers many social areas, including a welcoming lobby, a sunny library, and a large ballroom for community parties, events, and activities.

Residents can exercise in the fitness room, pursue hobbies in the arts and crafts studio, or enjoy some friendly competition in the card room. The clubhouse also features the friendly 19th Hole Bar & Grille restaurant.

Outdoors, residents can enjoy the fabulous Gulf Coast weather with a number of resort-style amenities. The outdoor pool area is a great place to cool off with a swim or relax in the spa. It also features a surrounding sundeck with comfortable lounge chairs and umbrella tables.

Timber Greens boasts an impressive 18-hole golf course featuring challenging play for golfers of all levels.

For more active competition, residents can make use of two lighted tennis courts or play a round of golf at the Timber Greens Golf Course. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Ron Garl, with challenging play that stretches across 6,133 yards from its longest tees. The scenic grounds also include walking and biking trails, as well as charming parks and natural spaces.

Residences

When it comes to homes, Timber Greens offers both attached villas and duplex homes, as well as detached single-family designs. Villas, by U.S. Homes, are smaller homes that were built in groups of two to six units. Their low-maintenance designs are ideal for active adults looking to downsize, yet they still typically include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-car garage.

Both U.S. Homes and Regency Construction built duplex and single-family homes in Timber Greens. Duplex homes were designed for single-level living, each with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. Homebuyers who want more space may prefer a single-family home. These affordable models feature modern designs with two to four bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half bathrooms and attached two-car garages.

At Timber Greens, affordable homes, country club amenities, and a desirable setting come together to create an ideal retirement destination.
