Westbrook Village offers an extensive collection of amenities to support an exciting active adult lifestyle.
Westbrook Village offers an extensive collection of amenities to support an exciting active adult lifestyle.

Set in Peoria, Arizona, Westbrook Village offers a great retirement retreat just outside of Phoenix. With around 3,900 homes, the community is smaller than some of the others in the area. However, it still offers an exciting line-up of resort-style amenities, including multiple clubhouses and two 18-hole golf courses.

Westbrook Village is a well-established community which was developed between 1982 and 1993. It has a prime location close to the 101 Loop, along the north side of the original Sun City, which makes it easy for residents to travel throughout the Phoenix Valley area. Although residents don’t have to leave the community to find classes, clubs and activities designed for many different interests.

Amenities in Westbrook Village are spread across three facilities: Lakes Recreation Center, Vistas Recreation Center, and the Fine Arts and Learning Center. Both the Lakes Recreation Center and the Vistas Recreation Center each include amenity-rich clubhouses and their own 18-hole golf course.

At the Lakes Recreation Center, residents can socialize at community events in the spacious ballroom or enjoy dining at Sunset Bistro at the Lakes. The clubhouse offers computers, billiards, an aerobics and dance studio, and a pro shop, as well as studios for ceramics, lapidary and woodworking.

Westbrook Village residents enjoy access to 36 holes of championship golf with lovely landscaping and views.

Outdoors, residents can enjoy a spacious patio and resort-style pool or play a game of tennis or horseshoes. The par-71 Lakes Golf Course also offers 18 holes of traditional play amid lush landscaping and mature trees.

The Vistas Recreation Center offers its own indoor and outdoor amenities, including a fitness center, a ballroom, multipurpose meeting rooms and The Lakes Neighborhood Grill. Additional amenities include a sewing studio, stained glass studio and a pro shop.

Outdoor recreations continue with a swimming pool and patio, as well as sports courts for tennis, pickleball and bocce ball. The par-72, 18-hole Vistas Course is a links-style desert course which offers challenging play across 6,400 yards.

In addition to these two clubhouses, residents have access to the Fine Arts and Learning Center. Adjacent to the Vistas Recreation Center, this facility offers its own meeting rooms and game rooms. It also has an art studio, photography studio and library for books and videos.

Westbrook Village’s 3,910 homes are located within 44 different neighborhoods. These homes include sizes and styles to meet the needs of many active adult homebuyers. Condos offer low-maintenance living with floor plans ranging from approximately 1,000 to 1,800 square feet. Most have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony or patio. Condo buildings also have their own outdoor pool.

Many neighborhoods include single-story attached homes, which are typically sized between 1,300 and 1,500 square feet. Detached single-family homes are also available in a wide range of styles. They typically include sizes from about 1,350 to over 2,500 square feet. Both attached and detached homes often include two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two-car garages. Larger single-family homes may also have separate dens, a third bedroom or an additional half-bathroom. Some even have three-car garages.

Active adults who want an established community in the popular Phoenix area may find the home of their dreams at Westbrook Village.
