Sonoma Woods is a 55+ community in Middletown, Connecticut that's perfect for active adults. This active adult neighborhood boasts low-maintenance living and a well-appointed clubhouse for residents. Single-family homes in Sonoma Woods were designed with open floor plans and first-floor master suites. The surrounding area boasts a myriad of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Sonoma Woods Amenities

The central hub of social gatherings is at Sonoma Woods' clubhouse. The 2,000 square-foot clubhouse features a gathering room, multi-purpose room, and catering kitchen. Outside the clubhouse residents enjoy two gazebos on the community grounds as well as scenic walking trails for leisurely strolls along the neighborhood.

Sonoma Woods Homes & Real Estate

Sunwood developed Sonoma Woods between 2005 and 2015 and the community has 68 beautiful single-family homes. These low-maintenance homes are perfect for the active adult homebuyer. Models range from 1,470 to 2,404 square feet and have at two bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. Some models offer second floors with an additional bedroom, bathroom or loft space. Back decks are included with all homes and provide a relaxing place to read a book or just unwind.

Sonoma Woods promotes a low-maintenance lifestyle for its residents. An annual homeowners' association (HOA) fee covers general maintenance of the community grounds as well as the lawn care and snow removal of all homes. Homeowners can meet new people at wine tastings, ladies luncheon, dinner parties or holiday parties.
