Highland Fairways was the first 55+ neighborhood in Mesquite, Nevada. This beautiful gated community consists of 127 well-constructed single-family homes. The community association takes care of maintenance, such as landscaping, weeding and pest control, freeing residents to enjoy the many amenities offered at the nearby Mesquite Vistas Country Club and the surrounding area.
Mesquite is a quaint city in Clark County, Nevada adjacent to the Arizona border. There are many notable landmarks and places of interest in the surrounding areas including the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and seven world-class golf courses. Highland Fairways Amenities
Although, there are no on-site amenities located within Highland Fairways, residents have access to the Mesquite Vistas Country Club that is located down the street. Here, residents can stay physically and socially active. Inside the clubhouse residents can keep in shape in the fitness center, rent out the meeting room for a special event or play a game in the card room. Residents can also watch TV, read a book, or surf the Internet in the hobby and game room. Outside of the Mesquite Vistas Country Club there is an outdoor pool, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, pickleball, bocce ball and shuffleboard courts.
Highland Fairways Homes & Real Estate
Parker Construction built 127 single-family residences within Highland Fairways from 2001 to 2004. There are four models offered that range in size from 1,378 to 1,824 square feet. The Mariposa features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an attached two-car garage. The Primrose model features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den that can be used as a guest bedroom or extra entertaining space. The Chapparal floor plan features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Sagaro model features two bedrooms, an optional den and two-and-a-half bathrooms. All homes come with an attached two-car garage and a covered patio.
Highland Fairways Lifestyle
Highland Fairways welcomes homebuyers aged 55 and better. The homeowners’ association fee covers all landscaping, sewer, trash, cable TV, pest spraying, and membership and use of the Mesquite Vistas Country Club. Since homeowners don’t have to worry about monotonous chores, they will have more time to enjoy their favorite hobbies and explore new interests.
Residents constantly plan fun events and neighborhood activities. The community also has numerous interest groups and clubs that meet on a regular basis. These range from everything like games and cards to hobby groups, book discussions and more. Active adults and retirees enjoy living in a private community with neighbors who share common interests and hobbies.

Highland Fairways is located in Mesquite, Nevada just off of Redd Hills Parkway and West Pioneer Boulevard. Mature landscaping can be found throughout the community with green lawns, soaring trees and flowering bushes. Mesquite is a small town located along the Arizona and Nevada border and is only 40 miles from St. George, Utah.
The region surrounding Highland Fairways has a lot to offer including an abundance of outdoor recreation, hiking, mountain biking and parks. Popular attractions include the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Lake Mead, and Lake Powell. Most of all, Interstate 15 provides easy access to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. Highland Fairways offers active adults the perfect balance of a peaceful neighborhood that is surrounded by bustling recreational opportunities and unlimited entertainment.

Highland Fairways is an affordable neighborhood in a good location. We like that it's gated, small and quiet. The amenities are not located in the community but just down the street at the Mesquite Vistas Country Club. At first we thought that might be a pain but it's really easy to get to and not having everything right here on-site I think makes the community even more quiet and peaceful. If you want something do to it's just down the street, or stay home and relax!
