This is one of the few active adult communities that gives residents the opportunity to easily walk to shops, restaurants, and services around town. This age-restricted community requires at least one resident be 55 and no one under the age of 19 may reside in the community on a permanent basis.
With only 138 homes, Four Seasons at Historic Cranbury is a charming and intimate community. The community clubhouse gives residents a place to get together with their neighbors for a game of cards or billiards or to just chat by the fireplace.

While this cozy neighborhood may not have as many amenities as some of the larger, resort-style active adult communities, it boasts its own distinctive charm. Activities within the community are centered on the clubhouse. Here, homeowners can work out in the exercise room, meet for cards or billiards in the game room, or relax by the fireplace in the clubhouse lounge. A multi-purpose room hosts community clubs and a bar is perfect for relaxing with a drink with friends. A game room also holds card games.
The swimming pool and spa is a popular place to hang out when the weather is warm. There is also a tennis court, horseshoe pits, and parks and natural space to let homeowners stay active and socialize with their friends and neighbors. Walking and biking trails throughout the community also make it easy to go out for a morning jog or an evening stroll.

The homes in Four Seasons at Historic Cranbury, built by K. Hovnanian, reflect the 19th century architecture of the surrounding area. Four Seasons at Historic Cranbury also offers Carriage Homes, attached at the garage. These homes are available in two models. At 1,491 square feet, the Drake is the smaller of the two, yet it provides a spacious master bedroom suite and a beautiful great room. The Williams is a 2,176 square-foot two-story model which features an inviting wrap around porch, a large master suite, a den or bedroom on the main floor, and open living with a combination dining room and great room.
Single-family homes are available in six different floor plans, ranging in size from 1,883 to 2,356 square feet. These homes feature two to three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. The popular Captiva, Nassau, and Inverness models feature open floor plans, while many single-family models have third bedrooms on the main level, which can be used as a library or den. Some models were also built with optional lofts. All of these luxurious homes include dramatic ten-foot ceilings on the first floor and six-foot tall windows, which let in plenty of light. There are also gourmet kitchens with breakfast bars and master bedrooms with spacious walk-in closets.

There are boutiques, quaint shops, restaurants, a park and a picturesque lake. Four Seasons at Historic Cranbury is also within close proximity of Princeton and New Brunswick. More stores and restaurants, including well-known chains, can be found at the nearby Quakerbridge Mall and at shopping centers along Route 130. There are also excellent healthcare facilities and public golf courses found throughout the area.
Day or weekend trips into either Philadelphia or New York City are easy to arrange, as both locations are approximately an hour away by car. The beautiful Jersey Shore is also an hour away, and Atlantic City can be reached in 90 minutes. Four Seasons at Historic Cranbury is the perfect active adult community for today's homebuyers.

This is the only 55+ community in Cranbury Township and it's within walking distance to town for shopping or going out to eat. The convenience can't be beat. The homes are very nice and the clubhouse is wonderful. It's a great neighborhood. My husband and I have lived here nearly 5 years.
