About Holiday City at Silverton

Holiday City at Silverton is a well-established 55+ community located in Toms River, New Jersey. Developed from 1967 to 1975, Holiday City at Silverton was one of the first active adult communities in the area and is now a thriving neighborhood of 1,595 homes. This community was developed in two phases and established two separate homeowners' associations (HOA), known as Holiday City Association (Phase 1) and Holiday City Organization (Phase 2).

This thriving active adult community has all the components to draw in retirees from Ocean County, New Jersey. With an active clubhouse, a wide range of low-maintenance homes, and several community-organized activities, Holiday City at Silverton is sure to keep homeowners busy and social.

Holiday City at Silverton Amenities

The Holiday City at Silverton clubhouse offers residents meeting rooms for neighborhood get-togethers. An outdoor pool, patio, and two lakes surround the clubhouse, giving residents plenty of chances to enjoy the warmer months. This clubhouse also has shuffleboard courts and a miniature golf course for enjoying some friendly competition.

Holiday City at Silverton Homes & Real Estate

Holiday City at Silverton was developed between 1967 and 1975 and now boasts over 1,500 homes. Holiday City at Silverton mostly consists of single-family homes. These residences range in size from approximately 900 to 1,100 square feet and offer one or two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a carport or attached one-car garage.

Holiday City at Silverton also offers a select number of attached homes that are around 1,000 square feet and have one bedroom, one bathroom, and a driveway. All units come with a den that can be converted into an extra bedroom. The monthly HOA fee covers common area maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal, giving residents more time to enjoy the company of friends and neighbors.

Holiday City at Silverton offers residents a wide selection of clubs and activities from which to choose. Holiday City at Silverton is located in Toms River, New Jersey. Garden State Parkway is just four miles away and the Atlantic City International Airport is about 55 miles away. Just up the street from the community is the Bay Harbor Plaza, featuring a Stop & Shop, an AC Moore, and plenty more shopping along Hooper Avenue.

The golfer won't have to travel far for their next swing with six golf courses in the surrounding area. Holiday City at Silverton is also just a quick drive to miles of beaches along the Atlantic Coast. Holiday City at Silverton offers active adult homeowners a terrific community and a convenient area in Southern New Jersey.

Lovely, quiet area with good neighbors. Homes could use some updates. HOA doesn’t include lawn care or snow removal as it states on this website.

I’m moved to Holiday City Silverton 3 years ago & absolutely Love It !! Price of home & property taxes are very affordable… The best “ hidden gem “ at the Jersey Shore !!

I relocated here from NY. I love it here. People are down to earth and theres a real community here. The homes are nice little ranches and many are very nice and updated. Theres a renaissance happening here and it’s quite honestly the best deal in real estate.
