It is home to 1,092 single-family residences and offers a variety of resale homes with many different options to suit different tastes and price points. Homestead at Mansfield is a very active community with plenty of scheduled events, social clubs, and a spacious clubhouse.

The very large clubhouse is a constant source of activity for the residents of Homestead at Mansfield. While it is an established community comprised of many styles, the resale homes feature spacious, open floor plans between 1,200 and 2,200 square feet and come with many upgrades. Burlington County also has several annual festivals. Philadelphia can be reached in 45 minutes and is a popular destination for city shopping and dining as well as museum trips. For an even livelier pace, New York City is only an hour-and-a-half away. Homestead at Mansfield
To E.C.: In Homestead, as other neighborhoods, clearing snow is not an immediate process. We have very specific rules on most everything here, including snow removal. I must ask, why your parents had to leave their house and hit the road immediately after such a dangerous storm, predicted days in advance? Once the snowfall ended, it melted off the sidewalks and roads in less than a day. Your parents and their neighbor wanted a faster process, so the neighbor shoveled. As a resident in Homestead, I support management’s decision and they followed the policy for clearing snow. The neighborhood would have wasted money to clear snow which melted quickly. At no time were the roads impassable in an emergency.
Homestead offers far more services and does them better than nearby seniors neighborhoods. The monthly fee here is low due to good management and judicious use of resources. I am very pleased to live here and do not expect a neighborhood to meet my every need.
My parents live here, both retired with health issues. Association and property mgmt decided not to plow or clear ANY snow from Nor’easter Quinn. Their 87 year old neighbor had to shovel himself out to leave the development. It’s an absolute disgrace.
Beware the extremly high cost of water and sewer service here. My husband and I researched the cost of home ownership carefully. Never did I think to check the water bill. The neighborhood is very nice, as are the amenities, management team and neighbors. The water and sewer bill is shocking. Literally $100 for 3000 gallons of water per month (protection program NOT included in this amount). This is more than double the cost in Bordentown Township. Homestead is billed at a higher rate than surrounding neighborhoods. I'm investigating why this is. Other neighbors reported bills of $250+ per month. Water and sewer charges should be considered carefully prior to purchasing here.
