We are extremely fortunate to have a Board who really cares that we receive the best services possible, and I believe it shows. Everyday that I drive through our community, I'm amazed at the pride everyone takes in their home and surroundings. Truly an active , vital place to live!

5.0

To say I love this community is an understatement. I moved here "twice". Retired with my husband here in 2010, moved away for a short time in 2015 and returned in 2016 after my husband passed away.I know everyone's name on my street! We look out for each other. I have more friends than I have ever had before. There are so many clubs and activities to participate in. But, if you want privacy, you can have that too. Grounds and facilities so well maintained due to our superior board members and excellent HOA management. HOA fees are reasonable for what we get! Houses sell in hours because the word is out, "Another day in paradise".

5.0

I truly love my life here in Del Webb. I have more girlfriends than I had in high school and college combined. In addition, the friendliness of our neighbors truly made this 'home' quite quickly upon our arrival in 2016. I cannot imagine living anywhere else.

5.0

My wife and I moved into Del Webb in November 2019. We rented in Fort Myers Florida for four months prior to purchasing here and have no second thoughts. We love the culture and amenities of this community. Most everyone lives a very active lifestyle and we find everyone is super friendly. Having 1,000 single family homes in a gated community seems to be ideal. Big enough to have scale but still small enough to get know people. Most homes have a water view to a man made lagoon with a fountain. I love sitting in the backyard to read and take a nap. I love pickle ball and the dogs love the dog park. I have made many friends through those activities. We are close to historic Charleston and many excellent beaches. Cane Bay, Nexton, Summerville, Goose Creek and Monks Corner are all growing communities so there are always new restaurants and shops opening up. Dell Webb Cane Bay is a great place to retire to.

5.0

My community is awesome. My neighbors are friendly and helpful. The grounds are well taken care of. The board cares greatly about the value of our homes. There are so many wonderful amenities -- tennis, pickleball, exercise, swimming, golf... I could not love it more!

5.0

My husband and I moved to Del Webb Cane Bay 5 years ago this month and could not be happier. Our HOA is hard-working, making smart, cost-effective decisions while also keeping the channels of communication open at all times. Our neighbors have become friends. Berkeley County is well-run, with easy access to top-qualified medical support, and good roads and schools, libraries, fire and police and EMS departments, churches, restaurants and shopping centers. I couldn't ask for more.

5.0

After living here for 7 years, my wife and I are more impressed than we were when we bought.Activities abound - more than anyone can handle, you can do as much or as little as you like.
Good mix of folks, constant improvements being made - upgraded Clubhouse, excellent new landscapers and a terrific Lifestyle/Activities Director, new Picklleball Courts.
Small wonder resales are snapped up so quickly.
Great move for us & many others!

5.0

My wife and I moved here in 2015. We looked at many 55+ communities before choosing Del Webb at Cane Bay. After 7 years we have absolutely no regrets. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the people are friendly, the number of clubs and activities to get involved in is only limited by how much time you have available. The HOA is constantly bringing in quality entertainment and themed activities for the residents to enjoy. If there is a better place to live, we haven't found it.

5.0

My wife and I moved here in May 2019 from the cold tundra and high taxes of the North. Before deciding on the Charleston SC area, we had prospected in places such as Tampa FL, Austin TX, Charlotte NC, etc. We decided on Del Webb at Cane Bay because of all the amenities the Del Webb community offers, its proximity to an international airport, and the great beaches and golf courses. In addition to the fun stuff, the economics made sense to us. In comparison to our Northern habitat, the cost of living is generally lower and the state income tax is lower. Also, the homeowners association Board of Directors consists of a strong and smart group of dedicated individuals who work in conjunction with a strong Management company and make sure we residents and our community are well taken care of. Since moving here we have made good friends and feel we made the right decision to settle here.

5.0

Del Webb at Cane Bay is a magnificent 55+ active Senior Community. There are so many wonderful activities always going on that if you want to be kept busy there is so much to choose from. It is definitely like a "camp" for adults. The lifestyle is topnotch and the BOD, Management and fantastic Lifestyle Director are constantly working to assure us of this. You can partake in as much as you want or as little as you want.......it is totally up to you! There are so many choices available for your everyday enjoyment. My wife and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend living here. 🙂

5.0

We moved to Del Webb Cane Bay in August, 2021. We have been overwhelmed with all of it. The. Immunity is beautiful and well taken care of also. The activities are over and above what I expected. There is so much to do and also you don’t have to do much. People are friendly and helpful. You can not experience a better place to live.

5.0

Del Webb Cane Bay provides everything its website promises. I have lived here for almost three years and have the best neighbors anyone could have. I have made good friends through game playing and events at our beautiful resort club house. In addition, our lifestyle director brings in a variety of excellent entertainers and speakers and sets up numerous special events, such as farmers’ markets, health fairs, and holiday bazaars, throughout the year. If you are looking for a nice active community in which to retire, Del Webb Cane Bay is an excellent choice.

5.0

We've lived here since 2015 & the community continues to grow in activity options, management excellence, & fiscal responsibility. The area continues to grow with restaurants, shopping options, & places to explore. We have been very happy with our decision to move from our home in Maryland to this marvelous community.

5.0

I moved here in June 2016 from Baltimore MD with neither family nor friends in the area. Charleston was always one of my favorite travel cities so it made sense to retire to an active senior development. As soon as the realtor drove thru the gates I knew DelWebb at Cane Bay was just what I needed. And I have not been disappointed. This is HOME!. I have made so many wonderful friends, single and couples, who are now “family.” We are there for each other in sickness and in health, good times and bad. The Resort offers so many amenities, activities, clubs, and services. We are an outstanding community of people from all over the country and in all walks of life. Is it perfect? No, but it is the closest place to Paradise that I can imagine. 5 stars plus!

5.0

I moved into Del Webb Charleston in April of 2016. Have not had one regret in doing so. Friendly, active community. Everything to fill your day.

5.0

We moved here 2 years ago from Myrtle Beach, and it is pure paradise. I take long walks every day, and it is like being in a botanical garden, as every homeowner has such pride in their property. It is a visual treat every single day.My other favorite place is the indoor salt water heated pool at our gorgeous resort. Our management and activities team, as well as the HOA, are the best in the country, and their attention and responsiveness to residents' concerns is unmatched. We also love and appreciate living among other patriots and veterans. World class medical care is right here with MUSC.

5.0

My husband and i moved here almost 6 years. It is so beautiful and kept up. The staff is so friendly, the amenities are plentiful. Something is always available for fun. We love it here, its so peaceful, friendly and fun

5.0

Recently moved to DelWebb Cane Bay from NJ and it has been the best decision I ever made. Aside from tax savings, the community and neighbors are the best! They say that if you are bored here it is your own fault and its absolutely true. There are so many activities/ sports/ performances/workshops that your head will spin trying to decide what to do first every day. The community is extremely well managed and beautifully maintained. Living here is like being on vacation at a luxury resort.

5.0

My wife and I moved here in June 2018, simply put, it’s been great. We are also lucky that our realities live right across the street from us in a house which is the same model. We have always liked Del Webb communities, quite simply put, they are GREAT and very well managed in every aspect.

5.0

In 2013 my husband and I built a home in the nicest community in the Charleston area, Del Webb @ Cane Bay. The residents are so friendly and are quick with a hello as you walk the beautiful property with your pup. We have a top-rated landscaping company, Bright View, that keeps our homes and grounds stunning. You can keep busy with the many clubs and get togethers at the club house or pools. We are so pleased we built here; it is 5 Star living.

5.0

We moved here last June from CT. When you pull into the entrance, it’s like paradise. The grounds are impeccably maintained by the same company that takes care of Disney. Why we didn’t move sooner, I’ll never know! I’m a big tennis and pickleball player, for which there are plenty of courts/opportunities to play. They also have water volleyball 4x a week which is a blast. Bocce is 3x a week. I’ve met so many nice friendly people which was a concern after living in the same state for 60 years. There are so many other activities as well that you can’t be bored. Bike and walking trails, dog park, beautiful indoor AND outdoor pools and hot tubs….amazing. Our home is very well built (10 years old) and all the neighbors are so friendly. Our HOA is very well managed with plenty of funds available for repairs/emergencies. We love it!

5.0

We have lived in this wonderful community for 11years and it just keeps getting better, especially since we separated from Pulte. Our board of directors, community manager, and activity director are excellent. The people are friendly and generally make you feel welcome.

5.0

Moved here 11 years ago. Best decision ever! Beautiful community filled with wonderful neighbors. Too many activities to list. They have something for everyone.

5.0

My wife and I grew up in California and lived in Las Vegas for 35 years. In retirement, we wanted to try something new. We love living in Del Webb at Cane Bay. The amenities are terrific and the grounds are beautiful. We know and socialize with everyone on our street (22 homes). We have never lived a friendlier place. The nearby town, Summerville, is quaint and offers plenty of places to shop. Charleston is a very short drive away, offering lots of world-class entertainment and activities. And Folly and IOP beaches… decent surfing!

We retired and moved to Del Webb Cane Bay 4 years ago and couldn't be happier with our decision. You can be as involved here as you wish and our neighbors are the best!

5.0

Wonderful place to live! All the activities one could ask for, and as many clubs as you could imagine. You can be as active as you wish, or just enjoy lazy afternoons on your porch. A safe and beautiful place for walks! People you encounter while out are friendly and welcoming! Neighbors take care of neighbors here. If there is a need they step up! I consider it a blessing to live in such a beautiful place . It is well managed and kept up to a standard of living that is top notch. The Best!

5.0

Our logo here is Just another Day in Paradise and I couldn't agree more! The best move we have ever made! Every day there is always something fun to do! Come on down and see for yourselves!

5.0

We didn't know what to expect from a 55+ active retirement community but we are so glad we decided to move here. This community is very well managed, the people have made this a true community through their caring for one another, the friendliness to us newbies, and many choices for activities and events.

5.0

We moved here from Maryland after looking at 55+ places from DE to FL. I wanted a place with an indoor pool, as well as an outdoor one. We loved the mature, well-maintained grounds and a community that was not too large, had hospitals and good healthcare and lots of retail…as well as being close to the beaches and close to the country. Summerville fit that bill for us. There is so much to do here in our Del Webb community as well. We can drive our golf cart on the streets of Del Webb and there are trails that we can drive to the Publix or a restaurant 3 miles away!

5.0

We moved here in 2018 when we retired and it's been wonderful. There are so many activities that we are busier now than we were when we were working. Even during COVID, there were plenty of outdoor activities and clubs met through Zoom for people to stay socially active. Our lifestyle director is amazing, and the maintenance crew keeps everything looking fabulous. Our HOA fee is very reasonable for the quality of services that we get.

5.0

I love being part of the Del Webb community. There is a great emphasis on encouraging participation in special interests and providing opportunities for residents to get involved in the community within and outside the gates.

5.0

Me and my wife search for five years to look for a community that fit us we have been at Del Webb came bay for over 2 1/2 years and couldn’t of picked a better place to be the activities director Mindy is excellent at her job and the staff that runs the facility or at the top of their game always looking for ways to save us money without hurting the integrity of where we live

5.0

Although my husband and I are living in Iowa, we liked this community so much that we purchased a home here! This is a beautiful community with very friendly people. We can’t wait to live here full time!

5.0

I love living at the Del Webb Cane Bay SC. The amenities are first rate, staff helpful and courteous. There is a club for everyone, and as many as you like. The ponds behind almost every home are clean, relaxing and home to a multitude of wildlife.

5.0

HAVE LIVED HERE 10 YEARS, LOVE IT, GREAT NEIGHBORS, FUN EVENTS,BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS, THIS IS OUR SECOND DEL WEBB COMMUNITY.

5.0

I retired and moved here in October 2014. It was a very good decision. The community pleasing to the eye. The Board and management team work hard to maintain or improve what we have. There are so many clubs and activities to participate in. One cannot be board unless one chooses to stay at home and do nothing.

5.0

Moved into Del Webb almost two years ago from Hilton Head Island. I cut my costs by $20,000 a year and I still had HarTru tennis courts, weight room and swimming pools. Having one floor living for us aging folks is great. I don’t have to worry about mowing my lawn or trimming my bushes. Gives me more time to do fun stuff. Best thing I ever did was to move here at Del Webb.

5.0

If I could give it a 4.5 rating I would, instead of a five star. The community has so many good things that really are five star, but I see some areas that I would change a little bit. In areas that matter a lot, the community is very well run. I love my neighbors and I have never considered moving in the 11 years since moving here.

5.0

Lynn andI purchased our home in 2013 and have never looked back. With a plethora of clubs, pools, concerts, etc. if you are bored it is your fault. A friend who moved here from NYC stated that he had difficulty early understanding why people wouldld wwave athim, wish him a good day, andactually look him in the eye when talking to him. Heindicated he did not even know the folks who lived two doors down from him .He now waves and greets everyone. A real testament to the friendly nature fo this facility.

5.0

My wife Agnes and I have lived in Del Webb-Cane Bay in Summerville, SC for over 4 years. The community consists of about 1,019 private homes within a 55+ adult gated community with a beautiful, long entranceway leading to our superb Resort building that houses a modern fitness center, indoor swimming pool, many meeting rooms and a front desk attended by helpful and thoughtful folks. The outdoor pool is huge and furnished nicely. There is always something to do, with something like 65 chartered and unchartered clubs, from the Wine Club, Golf Club to the Fine Arts Club, and sports such as pickleball, bocce and tennis. Our Lifestyle Director has many great events planned during the monthCharleston and beaches are nearby and friendly neighbors make it a joy to live here. An outstanding HOA board, great reserves and constant attention to modernizing and updating makes it the best of places to live.

5.0

The Board and the management company do a great job maintaining, communicating, and planning for the future for the community. We have been residents since 2014 and have never regretted our decision to purchase a house in Del Webb at Cane Bay.

5.0

My husband and I moved here 9 years ago. We think it’s a great place to live. There is a lot of things to keep you busy. Our activities director is the best! Always bringing great shows and activities! Even with the Covid she found ways to entertain us with outdoor shows! The neighbors are great too. They will bring you a meal when you are not able to cook for yourself. The support is refreshing.

5.0

Moved here April 2018 and we are not just living but thriving. Highlights for us are great neighbors, quality clubs. A HOA board that is transparent and financially responsible and cares about our quality of life and value of our home investments. We love the courts, the remodeled club resort, tennis, pickleball, photography. So many quality clubs to be part of. You decide. And we are so fortunate to have one of the best activities directors ever. Creative and offering us so much from concerts, dances, food trucks and more. WE love it here and are here to stay. Come and See...then stay and enjoy.

5.0

We moved to Del Webb in Cane Bay almost 5 years ago. This has been a fabulous community to enjoy. Even with covid restrictions, we enjoyed many outdoor events. In fact, if you so chose, you could find something to do almost every day. Residents are always eager to be good friends and help each other. Our board and managing staff are second to none. With their negotating, our new partnership with Sprectrum will save me about $150 per month. They are responsive to requests, such as adding new pickle ball courts. We couldn't be happier living here.

5.0

Two years in and it seems like we’ve been here two weeks. Time flies when you are having a blast! DWCB is all about the people. From the management team, board of directors to our great landscaping crew, it is a joy to get out and enjoy our community. Lots to do, if you choose, or great places to sit and relax. The shows and performers that are brought in have been outstanding! Again ,I say, you couldn’t ask for better people to enjoy this period of your life.

5.0

My wife and I moved here almost 9 years ago, and have never looked back. The landscaping company keeps the property very well maintained, palms trimmed, grass mowed, as well as making sure plants and flowers are thoughout. The Resort center, recently renovated allows many groups and clubs to have a home. The Cane Bay players are residents who perform in various light plays through out the year. In the summer many activities are help outdoors.Food and wine clubs, as well as pickleball, tennis, ping pong, are available. In addition, the indoor pool and spa are open year round; the outdoor pool is open April thru end October. Downtown Summerville has many places to eat and drink, as well as a town square. Downtown Charleston is just a half hours drive from home.A great place to live, meet new friends, enjoy the best years of our lives. And Charlestown is only 30 minutes away.

5.0

We moved from Wisconsin to South Carolina 3 years ago to escape the cold. We were looking at other 55 places, but after our realtor brought us here, that was it. We never looked back. The residents are friendly and so much fun. There are so many activities. If you want to stay active, you'll love it here. The BOD and management team are the best. Come take a look, you wont be sorry.

5.0

My husband and I moved into Del Webb in 2018, and we were welcomed warmly. Our Board of Trustees and Management Company work together to improve our community every day. Driving into our beautiful entrance and walking its paths is like being on vacation. Our neighbors are kind, friendly, and helpful. We made an excellent choice!

5.0

We love this community! As you enter Del Webb at Cane Bay, it feels like you entered a resort! The landscape is mature and pristine. In this community, you can be as busy as you desire. The amenities and activities are limitless! Even during recent changes due to the pandemic, a number of outdoor activities e.g., concerts were offered! We never regret our decision to be members of the Cane Bay Del Webb Community!

5.0

My husband and I have enjoyed living here for 6 years not. There are so many social activities, you never have to be idle. Our neighbors are the best, we interact with them frequently and enjoy game nights, social events, and just being friends. Love it here, We would not consider moving anywhere else.

5.0

Having lived in the community for nearly 9 years, my wife and I can truly say that our time here has become more enjoyable with each passing year. The many entertainment, dining and exercise/sporting/craft options offered provide opportunities to keep as active as one cares to. In addition to the variety of opportunities offered on site, Del Webb's proximity to Charleston opens up additional doors to an exciting lifestyle in the Low Country of South Carolina. We can sum up by stating that the community's unofficial motto of "Another day in Paradise" accurately sums up our retirement life in Del Webb at Cane Bay.

5.0

We bought our home in 2008 and moved in 3 years later. We have watched this community grow and become the very special place that it is. Our management company and Board are just the best. (How many other communities make that boast?) Beautiful facilities; wonderful activities, no matter what your interests; generous, caring, and friendly community; the proximity to historic Charleston and all it has to offer is such a plus; Charleston International Airport is such a pleasure and only 30 minutes away; our local dining scene gets better and better. To sum it up: DWCB was the right decision for us.

5.0

Great place to live. Tons of activities, you decide what you want to participate in and how often. The board/leadership team and association management firm are outstanding. They truly look out for the residents and are always upgrading the facilities along with keeping the landscaping perfectly manicured - well done. HOA's fees are reasonable and only increase a few dollars annually. And yes, the neighbors are friendly. The welcome wagon is always out.

5.0

We love it here! There is so much to do - can't do it all. Meet new people, try new things. From Woodworker's Club to Card and Board Games to Tennis, indoor & outdoor pools, pickleball,. HOA is doing great things to keep our community nice; and the management company they (we) hired is doing a great job overseeing our property. Great place to live!

5.0

February 20th: Another Day In Paradise: Del Webb Cane Bay has been our home for the past 5 years. The best decision made for an affordable active retirement community. Our HOA board is the best, our Lifestyle Director is top shelf. You'll never get bored here. Great Pickleball, Tennis Location is ideal between Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach. If you're looking for a growing community with and active lifestyle our Del Webb Community is the choice to make.

5.0

We've lived here since 2016. The location is perfect, Low Country weather is, for northerners, basically fall and summer. The residents are friendly, the club-resort well run, and the governing board most efficient. What's not to like?

5.0

I have lived at Del Webb Cane Bay for 9 years and have found it to be a great place to live. The Board of Directors has and is doing an outstanding job. The management company (AAM) is very professional and keeps on top of the issues keeping the community well informed . The landscaping and lakes are beautiful and the Activity Director brings in excellent entertainment and keeps the community busy with games, food trucks , and educational seminars. The Resort( Activity Center) has both an indoor and outdoor heated pools, very modern exercise room with updated equipment with both men and women’s locker rooms with showers and saunas. Our home value has increased over 30% since we built our home in 2014. If you are looking for an over 55 community Del Webb @ Cane Bay in Summerville, South Carolina would be your perfect choice.

Moving here from a New Jersey retirement community was difficult. I have found this to be our paradise. We have wonderful facilities, events and everything retirement should be. The people are great and we recommend this community to anyone who wants a great life in their senior years!

My life changed dramatically when I moved to Del Webb at Cane Bay. Driving in the Gate took our breath away! We thought we were in Heaven with the beautiful landscaping and fountains. The homes are cared for exceptionally well. The facilities are outstanding and I use the indoor pool every day. The greatest part is the people who live here. Everyone is willing to help if there is ever a need. Life is peaceful, fun, and safe. Moving here was the best thing we've ever done!

My wife and I were looking for a place to retire and enjoy life and we found Del Web at Cane Bay. We started looking in 2013 and finally chose to build in 2016. We love this place! The people are friendly, the neighborhood is beautiful and well maintained, the weather is great, we have wonderful amenities, the Resort has been renovated and upgraded, we just signed a great deal with Spectrum for highspeed internet and streaming TV which lowers my cable bill by $160/month...what more could you ask for. Come join us!!

I moved into Del Webb when it was first being built out but circumstances required me to move after a couple of years, time passed and in 2020 I saw an opportunity to move back and so glad I did! It is a beautifully kept area with very few worries for the homeowners and so very much to do. The Lifestyle manager constantly presents residents with wonderful choices, be it music, activity, or learning new things. I love DelWebb Cane Bay!

Excellent! We have lived in The Villages as well as a Lennar development and neither are as good for retirement living. Only 1,000 houses, excellent facilities, plus, near Charleston for fine dining and events. Tired of lawn work and want security...this is it!

We moved here from Myrtle Beach two years ago, and it is pure paradise. I take long walks every day, and it is like living in a botanical garden: everyone has such pride in their property that it's a visual treat every time. Our management and activities team, as well as our HOA, are the best in the country, and the care, attention and responsiveness to the concerns of the community is unmatched. We are also blessed to be living among other patriots and veterans.

My wife and I Moved here in 2013, at the time we were impressed with the activities and the community's appearance. Now that we have a new management team; AAM, the grounds and the facilities are fantastic! There are so many clubs and activity's that no one can say they are bored. The weather is great and the people are friendly. This is a great place to live.

I wrote a review back in July 2019 and rated the community as 5 stars.
Today, I would change that rating to 10 stars if it were possible.
Del Webb at Cane Bay is a 360 acre established and completely built out community located in Summerville, South Carolina (30 minutes from Charleston). Even thought the community is going on 12 years old, you would never recognize that fact other than there is no construction and the landscaping does not have that “just planted” look.
The community is as bright and shiny today as it was when it was when it was new – in fact, I would argue that it looks even better. The reason is that the Community has an ongoing maintenance and enhancement program to ensure that facilities and grounds stay pristine and up-to-date.
For example, during 2021 the following improvements were undertaken:
• One GIG of FTTH fiber optic internet, 40+ streaming TV channels, and a streaming app that provides access to over 10,000 TV shows and movies are now included in the Association fee. This new addition will personally save me over $150 in cable costs – and the Association fee only increased $10. One heck of a bargain.
• The 20,000 square foot amenity center was completed remodeled. It is absolutely beautiful.
• Two additional pickleball courts are under construction and will be available for play by March of this year. There goes my wait time for a court.
• The residential and common area landscaping now has a Disneyesque quality due to the community contracting with a well respected national landscaping firm. Quite frankly this place looks like a Disneyland for adults.
• Even with all the isolation issues associated with the pandemic, the social and cultural actives were amazing this past year. There was over 60 major events including concerts, plays, and themed parties – most of which were held outdoors. Once the restrictions were lifted on indoor capacity, numerous seminars, workshops, lunch and learn, historical & cultural presentations, and health & wellness symposiums were also held.
As you can tell, I am thoroughly impressed by Del Webb at Cane Bay. And apparently so are others since for the past two years it has been voted the Best Active Lifestyles Community in the Charleston, SC Region
I could go on for a long time about why I love this community but I trust the above gives you a flavor as to why Del Webb at Cane Bay gets 10 stars from me.

We submitted the following commentary in November, 2019 and have left it mostly unchanged. The community continues to improve and thrive and the incredible energy and innovativeness of the Board, along with AAM, the management company, is nothing less than astounding. That homes can sell within three days of being listed speaks volumes about the desirability of the community.Chuck & Agnes F
November 10, 2019We moved from New York State to Dell Webb Cane Bay (Summerville) in 2017 when we bought our home in this 1,000 plus single family home community. Dell Webb has lots of green space, lagoons, a great resort building with outdoor sports amenities and lots of clubs (travel, history, bocce, golf, pickleball, to name a few of many) where we have gotten to know many wonderful, friendly, active people. The gated entry to the community is huge and very impressive with its terrific landscaping and varieties of ever-present flowers. Bicycles and golf carts are the favored means of getting around. The board of directors and property manager simply excel in what they do to make it a great community. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our choice.Chuck

After living at Del Webb Cane Bay for over 6 years, there are absolutely no regrets regarding moving here. The first day that we drove through the front gate it felt like we were coming home. Our BOD has done an outstanding job of keeping the community financially secure while constantly upgrading and modernizing our facilities to keep them current. In addition to activities planned by our Lifestyle Coordinator, the many clubs and sports amenities and swimming pools keep all of our residents active and involved. The proximity to Summerville and Charleston and all of the restaurants, shopping and entertainment that those cities provide are just icing on the cake. I can't imagine a better place to retire.

We have lived in this wonderful community for 8 years and it just keeps getting better, especially since we separated from Pulte. Our board of directors, community manager, and activity director are top-notch. They are effective and dedicated to making our Del Webb a great place to live. They listen to and care about the residents. I know that's pretty rare in some communities. We have every kind of club and activity you could hope for. And a beautiful clubhouse with awesome amenities. There is always something to do. Or if you prefer to hang out at home on your porch, the scenery is lovely. The residents are welcoming and friendly, most of them. :) We love it here and we love our neighbors!

We've been a resident of this community for 7 years now. Living in Del Webb cane bay was the best decision we ever made.

I have lived in this community for 8.5 years and have loved it since the moment we arrived. The friendliness of the residents is probably its best asset. When I walk my dog every car that drives by waves hello to me. My neighbors are always willing to help, whether it is moving stuff indoors when a hurricane is coming or providing advise on house maintenance issues. There are so many clubs, sports options, and activities that should satisfy the interests of anyone who resides here. The Cane Bay YMCA with the library housed in the same building is a close walk down the street and provides other fitness and educational amenities outside the community. as well as the new hospital close by and all the new restaurants opening nearby. I really love DW CANE BAY!!

We retired to Del Webb, Cane Bay in July 2017. It has been one of the smartest moves we ever made. Great neighbors, many fun activities, and a strong sense of belonging. Very happy we made South Carolina our permanent home.

It never ceases to amaze me about how wonderful our Cane Bay Del Webb community is. Even during covid quarantine, they were able to arrange wonderful outdoor events. And now we are back to our full plethera of opportunities. Our board is amazing. We receive SO MUCH for our monthly fee. The board just negotated that our internet and basic TV to be included in our monthly fee!! Most people here are delightful and friendly. We LOVE living here.

What a difference it has make since we exist from Pulte. This new board is wonderful. They take care of every little details. The Resort has since improved 100% and more. The Resort look fantastic. Pulte just did not care at all and things were degrading. The inside pool is always the right temperature in the winter and clean. The outside pool is really just paradise and I enjoy it very much. What a good life.

We have lived in Del Webb at Cane Bay for a little over 4 years. It is an incredible place. Even during Covid quarantine, there were many outdoor events for us to enjoy. There are wonderful activities, clubs, and events for us. The residents are very friendly. We receive so many benefits from our very reasonable HOA fee. Our board and the staff are hard-working and get things done. Our properties are beautifully maintained. We LOVE living here

We just couldn't be happier! We still work fulltime and this is perfect place to transition to retirement when we're ready. Every time we drive through the gate, it feels like vacation! The resort area is beautiful - the neighbor is meticulous and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Our HOA fees are a bargain for what we get! The HOA board and management is experienced and forward thinking - probably unmatched! This community is established and has the kinks worked out, but is also modern and flexible and changing based on what the community wants. We haven't met a single person who doesn't love it here. Thanks, Del Webb at Cane Bay!!

We have lived at Del Webb at Cane Bay since November 2013. We have enjoyed all the amenities offered to us. We find the residents to be welcoming and eager to help. This is definitely a place to retire and enjoy life.

Wow! 3 years and this place gets better every day. We are so blessed to have a hard working Board for our HOA improving this place monthly to enhance the values of our property and to enhance our living experiences from sports, to clubs, to overall quality. We love it here living the dream in a beautiful resort setting.

We have lived in this community for 2-1/2 years. We couldn't be happier here. People are friendly and inviting. Residents reach out to help those who need assistance. There are clubs for numberous interests. Our management company and our board do an excellent job with upkeep and response to issues as they arise. We enjoy the proximity to Charleston, which is an amazing city.

Moved into Del Webb at Cane Bay approximately two years ago. Could not be happier with that decision. Del Webb at Cane Bay is an established and completely built out community. The first homes were sold in 2007 and the last in 2018. Thus one does not have to deal with all the issues associated with a new community – i.e., construction, noise, dust, traffic, etc. In addition, the grounds and landscaping no longer have that “just planted” look. Instead you have large live oaks, magnolia trees, and palms trees throughout the community as well as hundreds of red or white flowering crepe myrtles. There are 26 ponds with fountains (and fish) in every pond.
However, just because some areas are 10 years old, don’t get the impression that the community has deteriorated or become dated. The Community has an ongoing maintenance and enhancement program to insure that facilities stay pristine and up-to-date.
But the best part of Del Webb at Cane Bay is the spirit of the community. In many communities the governing environment is adversarial. Not at Del Webb at Cane Bay. The Community Management Company, the Board, and the Residents work together to solve issues – not just complain about them. The by-words in this community are teamwork and respect.
Del Webb at Cane Bay is only 12 miles from Summerville, South Carolina (a picturesque little southern town); 30 miles from Charleston, South Carolina (the #1 travel destination in the US); and 37 miles to the beach. Thus, at Del Webb at Cane Bay you have just about every recreational option you can think of except for snow skiing (sorry – we don’t get snow).
As you can tell from my comments I find Del Webb at Cane Bay a perfect place to live.

We're looking at building the Tifton Walk plan with the 2nd floor loft. We've looked at the pricing for some of the extras we like and we feel ok with the final price. I would rather start with a lower base price and add in only the things we really want vs. spend money on things that are not that important to us. We love the clubhouse and all the amenities. We're excited to build our home here!

June 21, 2013: Just returned from SC and spending hours at Del Webb. We looked at 7 fully furnished complete homes(different sq footprints and styles) adjacent the Visitors Center. We also looked at 10 homes in various stages of completion. We viewed 10 lots available for purchase. Very impressive organization, clubhouse and planned community. The basic cost is THE BASIC and everything else is an "upgrade" for an additional fee. Even the lot to build on is an upgradable fee of $10-20,000. HOA cost reasonable. Building 40 homes last week with a 4.5mo window for occupancy. Only selected lots have been released for sale.

My husband and I have been in Del Webb Charleston for just over a month. We like it here very much. The people are all very friendly. Just in the first week, we received three dinner invitations! There are plenty of activities, and upon joining, people are very welcoming. The new Publix grocery store is very conveniently located. Other stores are a bit of a drive so that when you leave here, you should plan to be out for awhile, but there is a pretty good cross section that provides most everything you'll need. In terms of location, being near Charleston is a plus. That city definitely has personality and being close to the beach is great, too. We looked around for about three years. In terms of other Del Webbs in SC, this one is smaller, but we like that. Prices of homes when we bought gave much more bang for the buck here than in other SC Del Webb communities. We're still adjusting, of course, but thus far, we feel we made the right decision in moving to Del Webb Charleston.

We checked this place out a few months ago. It is way, way off the beaten track; seemingly far from Charleston and at the very back of a planned community that apparently was hard hit by the economic downturn. Eventually it will probably be fine but at the time we visited there were no models to show us and what we did see as new construction had a long way to go to being updated 2012 desired homes.
