About The Springs at Santa Rita

The Springs at Santa Rita is a 55+ community in Green Valley, Arizona. The Springs community is a part of Green Valley Recreation, giving residents access to 13 different recreation centers, one of which is located in their very own neighborhood. Residents lead a socially and physically active lifestyle in Green Valley while enjoying the many activities, classes, and clubs offered.

The Springs at Santa Rita is a gated community that encompasses low-maintenance attached and single-family homes. Homeowners enjoy living in affordable homes that offer main-level living and low-maintenance exteriors. The Springs at Santa Rita’s convenient location to major roadways makes it easy to get around town and travel farther throughout Southern Arizona.

The Springs at Santa Rita Amenities

Santa Rita Social Center is a 30,000 square-foot recreation facility located within the gates of The Springs. Here, residents have access to an outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, computer lab, four meeting rooms, and catering kitchen. Residents also enjoy the clay, art, and dance studios. The Springs even has a 24-acre private park with trails.

In addition to a recreation center in their very own community, residents have access to all of the amenities provided by Green Valley Recreation. There are twelve amenity centers (thirteen including Santa Rita Social Center) located throughout Green Valley. All active adult homeowners have access to their top-notch amenities such as fitness centers, ballrooms, many hobby rooms, and multi-purpose rooms. With outdoor swimming pools, miles of trails, bocce ball, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts there are many ways to enjoy the mild weather in Southern Arizona.

The Springs at Santa Rita Homes & Real Estate

The Springs at Santa Rita encompasses 442 homes developed between 1996 and 2003. Active adult homebuyers can choose an attached or single-family home available on a resale basis. On average, the attached homes inside The Springs at Santa Rita were built with one or two bedrooms, one to two bathrooms, and an attached garage. These homes feature approximately 850 to 1,300 square feet of living space and share a common wall. The single-family homes offer about 1,100 to 1,600 square feet of living space. These homes provide main-level living with two to three bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and an attached garage.

The Springs at Santa Rita Lifestyle

Homeowners pay two yearly fees, one for the homeowners’ association and the other for Green Valley Recreation (GVR) dues. GVR dues allow access to all of the fabulous amenity centers, classes, and activities held throughout Green Valley. There are over 60 activities and clubs that include everything from tennis, hiking, golf, and crafts. The Springs at Santa Rita hosts monthly potluck dinners, picnics, and meet-n-greet parties. It’s easy to get to know your neighbors in the tight-knit setting offered by The Springs at Santa Rita.

The Springs at Santa Rita is located in Green Valley, Arizona just 25 miles south of Tucson. Much of Green Valley remains age-restricted (55+) making it a popular and affordable destination for active adults and retirees. Situated close to Titan Missile Museum, Tubac Arts Center, and Madera Canyon, there are many cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities nearby.

Situated conveniently next to Interstate 19, traveling to and from the community is a breeze. Tucson International Airport is just a 30-minute drive away from The Springs at Santa Rita. Directly to the east of the community residents enjoy spectacular views of the Santa Rita Mountains and the Torres Blancas Golf Course. The Springs at Santa Rita is a quiet retreat with an envious lineup of amenities close enough to big-city attractions.
