Sun City Apple Valley by Del Webb is a gorgeous California retirement destination with ranch homes affordably priced from the mid $100's.

California has a reputation for being an expensive place to live, but that doesn’t mean active adults can’t find affordable options in the Golden State. There are many active adult communities found throughout California which offer homes for less than $200,000, including both large, resort-style developments and more intimate neighborhoods.

When looking for affordable homes, you can easily find many options by using the 55places Advanced Search feature. Simply check the box for California in the first step, and select the maximum amount you want to spend in step 7. The choices will appear below, but you can further narrow down your options by changing the other search options (size of community, types of homes, etc.)

Currently, 55Places has listings for over 20 California active adult communities which offer homes for less than $200,000. This includes a diverse mix of developments.
