Active Adults in the Minneapolis area will soon have another community to choose from. Bellwether by Del Webb is a new 55+ community in Corcoran. Construction began in 2018 and there are plans for 398 single-family homes upon completion. Homes in this community will range in price from mid $200s to low $500s. The home models have yet to be released but with Del Webb’s many years of quality work, the homes are sure to live up to their lofty standards.

Bellwether by Del Webb is set to have the world-class amenities active adults have come to expect from Del Webb. An 8,000 square-foot clubhouse is planned for a fall 2020 opening. A state-of-the-art fitness center will be available for residents to stay in shape.

The clubhouse will also feature multi-purpose rooms for residents to gather for a game of cards. A catering kitchen will be available as well. Outdoors, a pool and patio and several sports courts will be available for residents. Neighbors will be able to engage in a friendly game of tennis, bocce, and pickleball. Walking trails will be available for residents to stay active and take in the scenery.

Bellwether by Del Webb will be a low-maintenance community with a homeowners’ association taking care of snow removal and lawn care. A full-time lifestyle director will be tasked with organizing community events, clubs, and classes as the community grow. Residents will be able to take part in as many hobbies and interest groups as their heart desires.

Bellwether by Del Webb is conveniently located about 30 minutes outside of downtown Minneapolis. Minneapolis offers residents the chance to experience quality dining, shopping, entertainment, and culture. The Minneapolis Institute of Art makes for a fantastic day out. Closer to Corcoran there are several stores for the necessities.

Pheasant Acres Golf Course is also in the area, it features an 18-hole public golf course and a pro shop. Residents looking to travel long distance can make the 40-minute drive to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. With its convenient location and quality amenities, Bellwether by Del Webb is sure to be a hit with active adults.
